Great Little Unit
Pros - Small & compact/relatively quiet/cool to the touch/gurgles quietly/has lights:)Cons - No timer so mist is continuous/no setting to have lights change automatically/reservoir is made of plastic which will dissolve in time due to the reaction to the oil.....**a metal lining would be a bonus in the next gen**This unit DOES shutdown automatically when the water level gets too low so you don't burn the unit out.It only requires 1/2 cup of water (I use bottled :) and 2 drops of oil for very fragrant air. This baby is going to get some SERIOUS use!**UPDATE**RIP - 8/26/19Upon arriving back home from Vegas, the tank on this unit finally gave up the ghost. I KNEW there was a reason I keep this unit on a paper towel - leakage!I noticed my room smelled stonger(?) than usual& went to check the unit. Sure enough, the paper towel was soaked! The tank was empty so I was sure I had a leak. I wiped the unit down & noticed dripping from the bottom of the unit.It was a good run though. This unit would've lasted FAR longer if the tank was metal & not plastic, which corrodes over time, but tbh, I'm happy I got the use out of it that I did.I HAVE replaced it with a newer(?) model. It works perfectly BUT is made with a cheaper/flimsier plastic - my ONLY complaint.

Easy to use, delivers the essential oils, cool mist, no heat
I've bought two of these, one at Whole Foods (cost $15 more), and one on Amazon.com (reasonable price). Got the first one 2 days ago at Whole Foods, and I'm impressed! This unit really delivers, in every aspect. First, let me describe the unit:-- very lightweight-- 3 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/8 inches diameter-- has 4 little feet underneath it-- has 2 pieces, essentially: the reservoir for water, and the top lid-- has two buttons on the front-- has an AC adaptor that plugs into the back-- made of plastic-- the box says it's white, but looks kind of silvery to me (the one from Whole Foods)-- has LED lights that change colors (optional)-- has 2 modes: 3 hours continuous, 6 hours intermittent (your choice)It's easy as pie to operate. You pour in half a cup of water, add some drops of essential oils, close the lid, push the button to turn it on. That's it. Nothing could be simpler. Suddenly, you have cool mist pouring into your room with fragrant aromas. The light is available, but not necessary to have on. You push the left button to turn on the light; it will go through several colors and repeat, continuously. If you want a particular color, just wait for your color to come up, then push the button again. If you don't want any more light, push the button a third time, and it goes off. No need to have the light if you don't want to. You do not have to turn the light on in order to have the mist. The right button is to turn on the mist. Push it once, and you get continuous mist for 3 hours; push it again and you get intermittent mist for 6 hours. Push it a third time, and it goes off. It will mist a little bit till it settles down.If the water gets too low, it simply turns off, all by itself. The instructions say to unplug it, but I haven't done that, and it's fine.If you want more mist, just lift the lid, pour more water, add more essential oils, and push the right button either once for continuous or twice for intermittent, and it goes again. It's a good idea to use some tissues and wipe it clean when the water runs out. The essential oils can build up after awhile. Be sure to clean out the little hole in the bottom of the reservoir, too. The instructions say you can use alcohol or white vinegar, but so far, three Kleenexes remove the standing water and any residue. Included with the package is a mysterious little brush. The instructions do not mention it. I have yet to use it. If anybody finds out what it's for, please let me know. The fragrance seems to fill up an ordinary sized room. If you want the whole house misted, you need more units. The unit is quiet, just some low water sounds as the water sloshes around, which is kind of nice. This is a "cool diffuser" because it does not use any heat. Instead, the water and essential oils are vibrated in the bottom of the reservoir to produce a fine mist. The mist is cool. The water inside the diffuser stays cool. No heat is involved. This is ideal for essential oils, which can lose potency when heat is applied. If you open the diffuser while it is running, you will see the liquids sloshing around. They are vibrated, not heated.Take care when lifting the top off the unit. It has a mesh covering around the side that might become damaged if you manhandle it. Also, the top can have water dripping from it, so just take care to hold it over the unit for a second before laying it down.I put a pad under the unit to collect any drips, because sometimes there are drips when taking the top off, no matter how careful you are.I have to say, I am very satisfied with this diffuser. It pours out lots and lots of aroma and mist. It fills up the room. I have benefited from using it, healthwise. It involves little work to maintain it. I just leave it plugged in, because it automatically turns off when the water gets low. You can leave the water in there and just add more when you want to start it again. But it's good to clean any residue once in awhile.I ordered a second one from Amazon.com so I can have one in my work space and one in my bedroom, without having to move it around. This is one of the best purchases I've made all year. I've also bought a whole lot of essential oils online to experiment with, and I've been reading up on the health benefits of essential oils. At this point, there are lots of medical reports on the health benefits of essential oils, and they are chemically well-documented. Essential oils can relieve stress and kill germs. To understand how they do that, you need to read the medical articles. And they also make your space smell great. When buying essential oils, just make sure they're essential oils, and not "oil" with fragrance added (which could leave a lot more residue, and not produce the amount of aroma you were expecting). Some websites offer better prices than others; all you have to do is Google for essential oils and check them out. You can also find out more about the health benefits by Googling and reading up.I have not tried any other brand. This is the model they had at the local Whole Foods, and I bought it on a lark. I was kind of skeptical of diffusers and essential oils, but after researching it out and experiencing it, I can see the benefits. This unit really is amazing, and I'm glad I bought it.

Nice but only lasts 1 1/2 hours
This is a very pretty piece and works well. However, mine stopped after an 1- 1 1/2 hours and shuts off with plenty of water still left in the reservoir. I returned it because I like long lasting ones or at least goes as it shpuld. I have to push it again and it runs another 1 1/2 and shuts off. Then the container is empty like the rest of the diffusers I have in my house.

Great little mister!
I have been using this for about 6 months now. It creates an amazing amount of cool mist that smells great with essential oils!! It shuts off autotmatically usually 3 to 4 hours after filling, when it decides it's running low. It never runs itself dry. It's simple to unplug, dump the water and clean out if you want to change oils. Some of the scent hangs around a little because of the way the base is designed, but I usually use lavender or peppermint and the smells don't conflict for me too terribly. That is probably the only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5.I enjoy the changing LED light display as well. It's very calming!

SpaRoom Ultrasonic Diffusers do a great job at a very fair price. Getting many compliments from clients & rooms smell great!!
Love this model diffuser. I have very expensive oils from Europe so wanted an effective diffuser so I purchased 2 of this model.I have looked diffusers from some time, and some are much more expensive & do not work as well as this model. The mister puts out the correct amount of aromatherapy for a room or office. This is an excellent model for Pracitioner offices, homes, kennels, pet rescue orgs, or in any situation where you are using oils you want to use in a room. I would suggest usingeither distilled water, or "reverse osmosis" water you buy in a store to avoid scale buildup which can interfere with the performanceof these diffusers. For the money this is the best Diffuser you can buy. I looked at many priced all most twice as much and was glad to be ableto purchase these on Amazon. Great service from this shipper & great product. It also has the changing light feature whichothers do not have which are more expensive. Very good buy for the $$.

It's okay
This product arrived on time and in good condition. The instructions were easy to follow and the product is easy to set up. I was hoping to use this product to infuse moisture in addition to scent to the air. I have tried both the intermittent and the continuous settings, and there is very little water gone from the tank at the end of the cycle indicating that there isn't much moisture being added to the air.
