When I was looking for a gaming laptop that I could also use for college, i expected it to feel like it was bought on a budget. It performs AWESOME when I'm playing games and if I go through MSI's dragin setting I can make the battery life last a couple days which blew me away. It boots right up in under 10 seconds and is definetly a great buy!!

I needed a new laptop mainly for school because my old laptop suddenly stopped working. When I received this laptop, I was impressed by the screen quality. There was no screen glare like my old laptop. This laptop is also very lightweight so it's easy to carry around. If you want to play multiple games with this laptop, I suggest getting an external hard drive. I play a lot of PC games and because the space for this laptop isn't much, I put any games I download from Steam into the external hard drive. That way, what I have saved to the laptop is only what I need for school. On the upside, playing games with this laptop really is high quality.

This is my first actual gaming laptop and I bought this for playing World of Warcraft and other similar games and not for hardcore gaming like COD or others. I believe the graphics card has not been tested to it’s full capacity since these types of games don’t require much. But I run WoW in almost max graphics and works perfectly, I’m even able to stream while playing without seen fps issues. I find it a bit frustrating that the MSI software keeps changing the graphics profiles setup while playing, switching between balanced to performance to theater. Maybe I need to find a way for it not to automatically switch between profiles.Keyboard is nice with cool colors.I was very surprised on how short the battery lasted while playing. Probably lasted 30min or less. I hope this is not because of battery issues but it really lasted very shortly, reason why I gave it a 3 star on battery life. I assume it lasts more without playing... havent really tested it yet.But so far it has met my expectations.

For this price, this is probable one of the best and most powerful laptops you can get right now. It loads everything quickly and runs my 3d modeling program at 60 fps on a power saver mode. It has a good looking screen with no light bleed. I may sound like a jet engine, get hot, and only last 5hrs on a full battery, but if you are looking for power over anything else, you should overlook these.

As a college student, who's already in a lot of debt, money isn't really a resource I can spend frivolously. So when my old laptop, which was a $200-$300 , became water damaged. I became quite worried. I needed a cheap laptop that could perform the school work I needed to get done and I really didn't want to give up gaming. The MSI GL63 ended up being a good compromise between cost and functionality, allowing me to still play games and not have to skip meals for the next few months. The only downside is the black plastic casing. It looks sleek at first, but picks up on body oils real quick. Making it covered with fingerprints after few uses.

I bought this laptop for my youngest brother birthday, the laptop was working very good at first but when the guarantee duration was finished i faced software issues after that the motherboard was burnet and i contacted the company but got no help or answers i always liked msi but after this one i feel disappointed and im sharing review after this time because it was eith my brother and he never told me

This is a kick ass comper for gaming all the games I'm running on it works and play fine on this gaming laptop I play watch dog 2 farcry 4,5, and the new one that just came out and some aspx and so on.. what's bad it only got 8gb of ram so my next thing I'm doing is putting 32gb of ram in it but over all it kick ass gaming laptop for what I paid for it very much happy with it

The laptop runs well as one may expect from a gaming laptop. I found a distinct resolution difference compared to my old laptop, and it is very nice. The battery drains very fast (twice as fast if you use Google Chrome over Microsoft Edge), but the battery options make the situation a bit better.The lid of the laptop (holding the LCD) is weak, however. Be very wary of moving this laptop around, because I didn't have it for even a month and the LCD cracked. Mind you, I had the keyboard cover, the cloth sleeve, and a cushioned backpack with the laptop holder inside. And it still cracked. My crappy Lenovo ideapad, while crappy, has a stronger lid and can take hits with no screen issues whatsoever.

Veey good gaming laptop, for the the buget wise consumer this is the kind of laptop you should get. Battery wise its uses up very fast, so you may have to plug in the charger while playing heavy duty games. Played Witcher 3, PUBG, CS:GO & Footba Manager 2020 on this laptop & its great!

Sin problema alguno de cierres inesperados o sobre calentamiento.Sistema de enfriamiento y acceso a dragón Center destacables.Audio más que Execelente. Tiene un sistema que realmente hace que tenga potencia el audio, esto tomando en cuenta que es un portátil. Por la parte de software tendrás todo para sacarle el mayor provecho a esto.Coolerbost5, Msi se caracteriza por tener este sistema tan bueno en sus equipos. En particular el 5 es muy bueno en este modelo. No tiene ruido exesivo al trabajar al máximo y en modo normal ni lo persibes.Aún que 256 GB no está mal en disco solido NVMe opte por añadirle un disco mecánico de 1T extra. Va de maravilla está combinación.En un futuro tal ves compré un kit de memorias para incrementar la ram. Es exoendible hasta 32 , 16x16 .Por el momento va bien solo con 8. ( Ojo es de solo un canal) . Sí se agrega otra extra hay que tomar en cuenta que sea de un solo canal también y de 8. Y si quieres una de dos canales es indispensable que las dos lo sean y hay que sustituir la que trae de fábrica.Lo malo: estuvo en oferta el modelo con i7 y 1060. Por un poco más de lo que la adquirí.Sí está en tu presupuesto convendría más el modelo con el i7.Algo que al parecer es tendencia en las laptop gamer de este segmento es la profundidad de colores. Realmente es muy pobre. Es algo que deberían mejorar y no creo que encarezca mucho el equipo. En este caso, también optaría por el modelo con i7 que sí cuenta con una representación de 92% NTSC .Debo aceptar que realmente cuando juegas no es algo que notes en primera instancia. Y lo compensa el buen rendimiento. Pero se agradecería mayor profundidad lo que lo haría perfecto.Definitivamente nada recomendada si quieres editar foto o vídeo. Este detalles es muy importante para esas tareas y no puede pasarse por alto.Sí te gusta ver películas también sufrirás un poco con los colores.La batería no dura mucho aún en tareas básicas como solo editar documentos o navegar. Es Recomendable no olvidar tu cargador.Lo feo : algo con lo que solo he podido lidiar aceptandolo ,se notan mucho las huellas de los dedos. El material es bueno , pero el acabado realmente es un imagen de huellas. El mínimo de grasa en las manos lo va a ensuciar y será muy evidente. Esto lo sabía pero no crei que fuera tan real pero si, es muy notable!Recomendable : kit de limpieza tanto de display como de teclado y plásticos.Calificación: 8Es un equipo con el que estarás satisfecho por lo que pagaste. No será un monstruo pero te permitirá jugar decentemente. Excelente calidad y servicio post venta.Una laptop que para iniciar esta más que bien.

La laptop es super genial, el diseño es bastante atractivo y lo más llamativo del producto es su sistema de refrigeración auxiliar al momento de ejecutar juegos y la resolución de la pantalla. El sistema de refrigeración auxiliar no permite que la laptop se recalienta y la alta resolución de la pantalla te permite disfrutar al máximo los gráficos de los juegos, películas y anime. En cuanto a los tiempos de espera para abrir las aplicaciones, es muy rápida. El tiempo estimado para abrir el sistema operativo es de 6 segundos y para una aplicación como matlab, wolfram mathematica y corel draw es inferior a 12 segundos.Las única desventaja que presenta en particular mi laptop es la poca sensibilities del touchpad y la capacidad del almacenamiento. El defecto del touchpad no es un problema significativo ya que siempre uso un mouse auxiliar para desarrollar mis actividades.Para la relación costo/beneficio, les recomiendo esta laptop 1000%.

salvo que los materiales son imanes de huellas dactilares , la forma , ergonómica, colores, y que el logo del dragón de la tapa se ilumina asi como el teclado retroiluminado en rojo no lo pienses esta pc no le pide nada a otra le aumente la ram a 16gb , la uso para autocad, revit y gaming hasta ahora sin problemas y ya llevo mas de 6 meses con ella
