OK here's the truth,California design sheets may not be comparable to WAMSUTTA (a brand I absolutely rave about)but you also don't have to pay top dollar for it as you would for Wansutta.I am comfortable with California Design sheet/sets because of the affordable price, the comfort, the look, the feel(even though it might not be as cool and smooth as 600-650 thread Wamsutta count, which I have also bought but for the price and quality, it will do just fine)I have washed the pillow cases many times now, and the flat sheets as well - still feels good and has not deteriorated in color or texture.It's a matter of what you can afford and how "soft" and cool you prefer it to be. I gave it 4 stars because it's certainly not TOP quality, but it is GOOD quality. and I intend to buy more. Hope this helps.

..unless you rich or retired and can lay in bed all day!! These sheets are so comfy that it's hard to get out of bed and go to work. Lucky I work from home with a flex schedule. I was skeptical about buying sheets online since I've only seen the picture but I was NOT disappointed. Will buy more sheets in the near future.

I have just recently bought a large amount of your flat bedsheets. I am not hoarding, your fine weave cotton has been the perfect fabric for lining home sewn medical masks.Please know that every queen size flat sheet, will line 100 masks. When I first started this, I thought I might need to make 20 or so for a family member who was a nurse, i have made my first 100 masks and can't see an end in sight.Thank you for a wonderful product that I am able to repurpose for a wonderful cause.

First let me say that I already had a set of these same sheets in another color and love the feel!I am rewriting this review because now that I have received more of the sheets I ordered, I can better see what is "supposed" to match what. I will reiterate that we all know colors can look different on different monitors. I have looked at the colors on Amazon on my Dell monitor, my LG phone and a Mac notebook. None of the colors I saw look like the colors I received. Too make matters worse, there is no indication of the color on the box so you don't know if you received the wrong color or it's just that far off what you see on your screen.The "sky blue" sheet set and extra top sheet I ordered look more like a "dusty blue" - nothing sky about it, nothing bright about it. It is much grayer than the color I saw on any of my devices. This is disappointing since I like bright colors.Let's talk about the color "seafoam" now. I ordered a full set of sheets a while back and was disappointed that they were darker and grayer than they looked on the screen. They looked more like the "sage green" color. Because I was desperate, I kept them. The top sheet was too small for my full size bed so recently I decided to order it in a queen size. The "seafoam" queen size top sheet I received looks nothing like my original "seafoam" full size top sheet. The new one is a very bright almost "mint green" color. So either the original sheets they sent me (which were darker and grayer than on screen) were the wrong color OR the queen size top sheet I just got (which is very bright) is the wrong color.It's too much trouble to return everything so I will simply use the mismatching and/or wrong color sheets. Probably won't order from California Design Den again.

We have a queen mattress that's 13" deep and couldn't find any queen top sheets big enough to tuck anything in. Loved being able to buy separates. Bought a queen fitted and a cal king top and matching pillow cases.. The bottom sheet fits great with elastic all around. Love the top or bottom labels in the sheet so I don't have to keep turning it until it fits. Very soft and comfortable.

Since there isn't an actual product preview for this color, I added a photo I took of the sheet and adjusted it to match the color of the sheet as closely as possible. The photo was taken under daylight and adjusted on an iPhone. (the android screen may distort the color per display setting) The color is pretty close to the color portrayed on the button for the "peachy blush" option, but perhaps ever so slightly pinker under the daylight. Under soft white bulb light in the evening, I assume it will be more peach color. Softnesswise, I wouldn't say it's the softest sheet. If you have Brooklinen luxe sateen, it is slightly rougher than that. I have not yet had the chance to wash it multiple times, but when I do, I will come back to update this review.Update: multiple washes later: a couple of bits of loose threads, but otherwise no significant damage. However, idk how it happened, but the pink-ish tint kind of faded? Now it is a more peach color. Absolutely love the sheet

First, I was THRILLED to find sheets as "separates." I have a queen bed that has a deep mattress and a queen top sheet isn't quite wide enough to tuck in on one side and give me the drop I like on the other. So I live being able to get a king flat and a queen fitted.Second, I have 3 cats who are very tough on bedding. They "make biscuits" constantly and can kill a top sheet pretty quickly. So I don't love spending a small fortune on sheets that won't last long.These sheets fit the bill, at least so far. I washed them as directed and they came out nicely - a little "crisp" like cotton sheets are, but soft and comfy. I honestly expect they'll wash well and just get softer with time. Unless the cats kill them first. ;-)

I am delighted with the quality of the flat sheet - especially the fabric. High quality thread count and semi-shiny finish. The color is exactly what I was expecting.
