An absolute must have! My toddler is 35 lbs and this is a dream item!
This was heaven sent! You can’t always bring a stroller with you everywhere you go and this is exactly what every toddler parent needs! You can carry your child frontward or backward. Super comfortable for them and secure for your peace of mind. I was motivated to make purchase this for our vacation and it came in handy! My toddler is 35 lbs and it was so nice having that sturdy support walking in public. This product holds up to 45 lbs! Something that you can get so much use out of for years. Very functional. I cannot recommend this more! We also used it for Mardi Gras!

Good child carrier
I’ve used this on a camping trip for both my children now. I’m 5’5” and 170lbs and it fit fit with plenty of space to go bigger. I carried my 23lb 9 month old on my front facing me as we walked around the towns and she loved it and it was very comfortable for both of us. We then went hiking and the 9 month old went in the hiking bag carrier and I put my tall 5 year (3’10” 50-55 lbs) in this carrier on my back to help get her through the parking lot/high traffic areas. She loved it and it made that so easy. I plan to take this on an upcoming cruise so I can carry either child in instances where we won’t have our wagon. The print is cute, neither child nor mother got over heated (though the weather sat at around 70*F). We will definitely get lots of use out of it since we can use it for both children.

Great for bigger kids
Works great for hikes with my almost 4 year old at 34lbs. He's comfortable in it. Great quality

Awesome carrier for toddlers!
Love love LOVE this carrier! We’re a hiking family so we’re always hitting the trails with our kiddos. My husband said this carrier was comfortable and lightweight. His back didn’t hurt him at all after carrying our daughter either, and we hiked 6+ miles in one hike! The size is perfect for toddlers, and we feel that is was extremely safe.

Great Product but not a match for my toddler
My goodness! I so wanted this to work. But my toddler refused to keep still in this carrier. It is comfortable and spacious and if I was a toddler I would fall asleep or relax in it…I am also 5’2” and 100lbs so I am a very petite woman. This carrier after just about 10 minutes started to hurt my body as I carried my 3 year old. This would be ideal for anyone who can carry a toddler for any amount of time.

Perfect size for toddlers
I have always worn my baby since he was a newborn and needed to upgrade into a baby carrier that would fit a toddler. This one is perfect and has done so well for us. He is now two and weighs about 32 pounds. I take this everywhere I go and it makes grocery runs a lot easier since he is not one that sits still in shopping carts. Very well-made would definitely recommend for anyone who likes to wear their babies.

Uncomfortable on shoulders
Our 16 month old is a big guy, about 30lbs, and has been growing out of his infant carrier. So we were looking to size up to a toddler carrier. This carrier is a great size for a toddler and I was hopeful. The fabric is soft and has a cute design. The whole carrier is very light, especially compared to my Moby carrier, which feels like heavier (almost) canvas-like material. There are a lot of adjustable straps, so you can get the best fit. The buckles seem sturdy and are easy to use.The foam throughout feels very thin and easily compresses. So when our LO is in the carrier, his weight pulls down on the shoulder straps, compressing the foam in the straps. All I could feel was the pressure along the middle seam of the shoulder straps. There is no way I would have lasted more than 1hr like that. The weight does not feel evenly distributed because of this.I did make some adjustments to the straps but it still put most of the pressure on my shoulders.Sadly, I plan to return this item and look for something of higher quality.

Like Ergo but better and toddler sized!
I have literally worn holes in my Ergobaby original cotton carrier, so I loved it. But since my babe turned about 14 months old, he’s too tall to sleep in the Ergobaby as it doesn’t cover his back (and he HATES being covered which I do to help keep him upright). He also has taken to arching his back in protest when he didn’t want to be carried and almost fell out of the Ergobaby because it’s just too short for him now. This Beco toddler carrier is toddler sized with all my favorite functions from Ergobaby and then some! I love the extra adjustment points where the shoulder straps connect with the back panel for baby. It makes it easy to adjust no matter how you wear your babe! The hooks for the hood are super smart because you can hang toys or pacifiers from them. The detachable hood and pocket are nice because, like I said, my babe hates covers so I can just take it off. I do feel that the T strap could be made to go a little lower. When I’m breastfeeding in the carrier, the T strap hits the top of my neck even in the lowest position. For some reason, my baby didn’t take to this carrier right away even though it’s similar in fit, style, and feel to our previous carrier that he loved. Maybe he didn’t like that he couldn’t arch out of it? I love how high it goes up his back. I also love the beautiful, soft cotton fabric. Even though I’ve been traveling in hot, humid Japan, I prefer cotton to mesh because the mesh rubs my skin raw if I wear a tank top or open collar shirt. For a perfect carrier, they should add a lumbar pad on the waist strap. However, I still give it 5 stars as is.
