Original post below. After about 3 months, most of the candles no longer work. Changed batteries but still don't work. Nonetheless, for the price, they were great for the brief time they did work. If you want some great ambiance for a month or two, these will accomplish the task. Honestly, would buy again for holiday season.‐---------------------------------Great product for the money. One of the candles did not work but at this price, don't really care. They are thinner than what you may see in stores but still look great. Remote controls are critical (so don't lose). Without them, you cannot set the duration you want them on each night. Also nice is the choice of solid light or flicker like an actual candle. I would buy these again if needed.

We don't often use electric candles the way they come in the box. These candles found their way into our Halloween Haunt as candles to add ambiance to a graveyard and inside Jack-o-lanterns to give them a more realistic look. They stood up to outdoor use, although they were well covered and never came into contact with anything more than foggy nights for short periods of time. They're fairly bright for the type of candle they are, have a nice flicker and color, and come in at a cost that suits our budget. The remote control sometimes takes a few pushes of the button to get them to all turn on, but it works, even outdoors where we put the candles. They are made of a wax outer shell, which means they adapt easily to having even more wax dripped all over them to get the effect we want of a much older, more decrepit candle. Considering that they worked out to be about two dollars a candle when we got them on sale, we're very happy with the purchase.

This is my third set from the seller. The first set was the white but I found that I prefer the warm yellow flame color so now have two sets of those for a total of 3. I will probably transfer the batteries from the white ones to the yellow ones and only use those. These battery operated tea lights use a standard 2025 or 2032 lithium cell battery and it's a more affordable option than actual candles for my purpose of use.UPDATE Tue Mar 7, 2023: I have now purchased and had these delivered FOUR times as of today from this same seller lol so decided to invest in a charger and rechargeable batteries for these (LIR2032) to replace the CR2032 that they come with. They are awesome and I still prefer the warm yellow color. It's easier on the eyes and looks more realistic in my humble opinion. FYI: These look beautiful in the IKEA tealight holder FINSMAK which sells for only .59 each. Levels up the look! Additionally, these battery operated candles are still selling for a fantastic price for what you get! RECOMMEND

These candles performed exactly as expected. All worked, responded to the remote, and turned on and off as programed by the timer. The candle mode is not very realistic but that is the case with most inexpensive flameless candles. Some complaints about the difficulty loading the batteries are not really justified. It takes a little manual dexterity to close the spring-loaded battery holder, but the design keeps the cost down. The manufacturer wisely includes a couple of extra closures because it is a small part that could be lost. I would definitely buy these again.

These are actual wax candles. Instead of traditional flame wicks, they have LEDs. They look totally real with the same ambiance as real candles.For me, this might be bad, being wax. I want to keep them in a cabin that will be intermittently used. It might get warm enough to melt them.Giving the full 5 stars because they look and work perfectly as intended.

So happy with these! Not sure about some of the negative reviews, but everything works great - it’s really not rocket science figuring out how the batteries need to be inserted. Just look at how the cover is inserted and you can tell which direction the batteries are supposed to go. They include 2 remotes and an extra battery cover. You will need to buy 18 AA batteries for all these candles. The remote that I’ve used works perfectly, sometimes they won’t all light, but pressing the button again is no big deal. There is a small clear tab in the remote battery’s cover and that needs to be removed. The waxy coating makes them seem more realistic - they are thinner than I had imagined, but the seller’s description is accurate. The light is also a little more realistic (yellow) when it’s set dimmer, when on high the light looks a little orange. Very happy with this purchase!

These little lights are fantastic!! I use them in my HS classroom for teaching Frankenstein, as well as doing reflections. The kids LOVE them! Great quality, and the little cloth "flames" are a wonderful touch. I've ordered these a few times, and I am never disappointed!

The media could not be loaded. These flameless candles are great! I planned a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and wanted a nice candlelight. These lights gave off a really nice warm candlelight and looked good clustered together. The remote is AWESOME because you can set the candlelight to “flicker” like the light of a real candle or just provide a steady light, you can also put them on a timer, which would preserve the batteries for 2, 4, 6, 8 hours. You can also dim the lights! My only concern was that the candles were somewhat more narrow than I anticipated but they were perfect nevertheless. I ordered two boxes to get this look.
