A lot of memory
Our security device needed a new memory and this one is just right. Hopefully it works at least as many years as the original.

Stealthy Drive
Works very well compared to others in its class of HDDs. Because of its low spinning speed, this drive is really quiet and very good for NVRs and other surveillance low-noise applications.

Don't buy hard drives on Amazon!
I just got this hard drive up and running. It's 4TB. I started transferring data to it and after a couple of hours I got this. The drive has bad sectors and now I could lose all my data! Don't buy these disks. As you can see, it doesn't matter whether the disk is big or small. It seems to me that Amazon sells only defective disks. Just don't buy them from Amazon.

The shipping on this was faster then prime said and that was great. The product was built well, was easy to install. The drive was the size it said and was plug and play on our security system.

Crazy loud
I have a single Toshiba drive running in a surveillance computer located in a closet and I can hear it throughout the house. The drive makes a low pitch clunking noise. Despite attempts to reduce the noise with soundproofing, the low pitch clunking noise can still be heard. It is astonishingly loud."
