Thumbs up
I bought this so I could upload images to my phone or tablet on the spot and it does just that. I havnt dealt with any connection issues and I've been using it constantly for about a month atleast. There is no degradation of images tho the time to upload images varies. One thing to mention is that when plugged in you cannot use your view finder to view images you have to use your device that is connected. I'm very happy with this purchase and does what it's intended to do. It's also very small so make sure to connect to your camera strap like me or to something so it won't get lost.

It works!
It's a great unit for triggering shutter and focusing but the app doesn't have a lot of other functionality. So if you just need to trigger the camera remotely it's great.

Not a plug and play module
Finicky and some connection issues. Not as user friendly as I had hoped but will work to an extent

As bad as others say but better than nothing (barely)
It’s as bad as everyone says: the accompanying smartphone app constantly disconnects from the device, it’s painfully slow and it’s barely usable. This offering is an embarrassment to the good name of Nikon.Knowing this, I still bought it, because (sadly) it’s better than nothing. I only wanted it to frame shots before taking them at home with my D610. It’s a vast improvement from taking a photo or video to test how the framing looks. Still, the connection constantly severs and the lag is really bad. Thankfully, reconnecting doesn’t take too long (either hit the connection icon or force close the app and restart—I know...).I’m still glad I bought it, if only to make framing shots easier. I hope Nikon updates the app soon (it’s dated 2012).

A wonderful combination of glitchy- and awfulness
Save yourself some grief and don’t order this. I tried to use it to download images from my Nikon D610 to my MacBook Air Pro and in a word, the experience sucked. Sent it back within one day of receipt.

Works with apple iPhone 6
The wifi links and app works well. It opens photos slowly. I wonder if it my SD card limiting the speed. Cannot view the image on the camera with WiFi connected. Only view on iPhone.
