Why spend more?
Usually at this price point you expect it to not do what it says on the tin. but so far so good I am very happy with this purchase.here are my thoughts:Packaging:The packaging was ok nothing premium about it, you dont get a carry case or pouch for taking it out and about.Accessories:In the box you get a 3.5m cable with length about 120cm, it has an angled head on one end of the cable which is great for smartphone use. you also get a micro Usb cable for charging the Headphone.Headphone Build quality:The headphone is OK, at this price point you wouldn't get anything other that a hard plastic which is completely OK and very good. It has padded ear cups (Probably Synthetic Leather) which feels comfortable to me. it also has a nice padding on the top arc to avoid pain from long hrs use, I wished it had more padding at the top because I am bald 😄 and need all the comfort I can get but if you have hair than this is not an issue at all.The headphone folds up in a nicely compact form to easily carry it around, but the ear cups dont swivel round if you wanted to lay it flat on your chest, again for this price point this is not too bad. The headphones do provide a really good seal around the ear to block out environment noise. At high Volumes you can get some audio spill so anyone near you can hear your music, however the seal of the ear cups are quite good so you will not need to turn up the volume too loud anyway.Features and functionality:Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity is great, pretty standard now, signal bonding is good, no signal breaks from having your phone in your pocket or in a bag.it pairs only to one device at a time, I kinda wished it paired to 2 devices at once (there is an easy hack to doing this), however the provision of a 3.5mm cable connection is always welcomed so you can quickly switch between several devices with cable connection. One good thing the headphone does is to automatically disconnect the Bluetooth connection and power off once it detects a 3.5mm cable plugged in, since it does not require to be powered ON to work using the cable, however battery must have juice for the aux cable to work 🙁.it automatically remembers last connected device and pair up once you power ON.The audio sync was locked on, so the lip sync in movies and YouTube was great.ANC works as it should, it blocks out low frequency noise when switched on. dont expect 100% complete sound isolation, ANC is only used to block Low frequency rumble, like car engine noise from the inside, or Aircraft noise inside the cabin, and this works quite well. Some headphones over £250 will cancel out just that bit more noise than others, and this performed decently in the Noise reduction, but not as great as the Sony 1000XM3.Sound Quality:The headphone performs quite good. I just needed a budget everyday commuter headphone that sounds good and this really surprised me. The bass is boosted slightly and the mid range is very clear so vocals really stand out and heard clearly.the high frequency is well balanced crispy enough and shimmering but not ear fatiguing.Even at high volumes the sound does not distort, so you can comfortably play music at the max volume and still enjoy it, be careful tho for when you need to hear your surroundings.I used it to watch a movie and the sound was very immersive due to the ear cups seal, it felt like I was closer to the action and even tho I was watching on my phone I felt engaged with the movie. Conclusion:Now of course spending a bit more money for a premium product might get you that little bit extra that may matter to an enthusiast, but If you are just looking for a good headphone with decent ANC, long battery life, surprisingly amazing sound quality for music and netflix, and dont want to spend a ton of money then these are great especially for the low price point. so far so good, I love it and I can recommend this.Hope this helps!

Proper Active Noise cancelling headphones for £40?! Best budget ANC Headphones I've tested!
Proper Active Noise cancelling headphones for £40?!I thought nah it can't be - but these, these are the real deal. The fact that this kind of intracate technology is now only £40 is crazy in my honest opinion. It actually works very well too.The headphones feel very comfy and very lightweight - almost too Lightweight as they now feel cheap and flimsy with the plastic materials. The sound quality is brilliant - especially for this price range. However there is some clipping at max volume. This clipping cannot be heard at 90% volume. The noise cancelling is crazy good - it turns down background noise to around 95%!!sometimes I wear them without playing music just to cancel out the majority of outside background noise. They do not cancel out sounds such as a car beeping at you or someone yelling at you, but they do cancel out constant background noise such as AC units, Engines, wind and general background sounds.Bluetooth connection is generally good, however I have issues when the phone is in my left pocket for some reason Lool maybe the fat of my thigh is blocking the signal as I have absolute no problem remaining connected to my phone when I leave it in my bedroom and I'm across the house with the headphones.Theae are rediculously good for £40! Only let down by their plastic and flimsy feel.Voice is okay - I can hear ppl great, but I've been told the quality if my voice is mediocre.

Excellent budget headphones, slightly misleading description
I review technology for my job and have seen countless pairs of budget headphones. The first thing to say about these headphones is that they are excellent value for money, there aren't many headphones out there offering audio quality as good as this for the price. At the end of this review I'll leave a quick summary of the pros/cons if you'd rather skip down to that. The sound signature is fairly neutral and flat but really well balanced. Typically, headphones in this category have over-emphasised bass to try to accommodate for poor sound quality. This is definitely not the case here. The bass full bodied but without booming or over-powering the other frequencies - which makes for a warm and relaxing sound signature. Vocals and mids are smooth and pleasant, but just like the highs are lacking in the detail you'd find in flagship headphones. Equally the soundstage is lacking, again I wouldn't expect to really hear this at this price point though. For the price these are some of the best sounding headphones that I've tested - the claim of "audiophile-grade sound" definitely isn't accurate though.*EDIT: The battery life claimed is 24 hours, but from my 50% volume test the headphones obliterated this claim and produced 37 hours. I'm not kidding, and I checked this multiple times (even reached out to Taotronics for confirmation). Seriously impressive! It was nice to see a 3.5 mm cable included in the box too, but once these run out of battery, you can't keep listening to them, sadly. Of course, you don't have any fast charge options here but it takes around 3 hours for a full charge by micro USB - pretty standard, but I wish these used USB C. Connectivity is also very good, particularly through obstructions (like walls in my house) with the headphones easily surpassing 30 ft, so no complaints here. In the line of sight test they well exceeded this though with a crazy 385 ft! Surprisingly, these also offered multi-device pairing (2 devices) - a feature even many flagships don't have. For those who want to use the headphones for taking calls, the microphone has average sensitivity and my voice sounded a little muffled but phone calls were possible (be aware that these will pickup a fair amount of background noise too).Build quality is pretty standard, which is to say fairly good. The folding hinge mechanism is very well made, you can tell this won't break any time soon. The plastic material choices are pretty cheap-feeling but also durable enough (but are huge fingerprint magnets). Otherwise, the design is fairly attractive, simple and not too bulky on the head. The leatherette cushions offer pretty decent padding on the ears....but I'd emphasise that this is 'on' the ears. Advertising these as over-ear is quite misleading, it isn't just a case of being dependent on ear size. These are clearly on-ear headphones and will only be 'over-ear' on the absolute tiniest of ears. A consequence of this is that the headphones press against the ear cartilage, meaning ear fatigue sets in a lot sooner than with over-ear headphones. After listening for a couple of hours I did notice my ears becoming sore and it was a relief to finally take these off. The clamping force isn't 'particularly' bad, this is just a common consequence of the on-ear style. I'd also liked to have seen a bit more padding on the headband since these aren't particularly light and will cause a little bit of soreness at the top of the head after a few hours of listening. The button placement for the music controls is also quite unusual. The volume buttons are distinctive and well located at the back of the ear cup, so you instinctively go to place your thumb here to change volume. The buttons are tactile and offer a nice, distinctive click when pressed...but the power button needs to be here too. The power button and ANC switch are located on the opposite side at the front, which is quite unnatural to reach. The power button doubles up for skipping tracks, so I needed to reach up to press this fairly often. Perhaps locating all of the buttons on the right ear cup was a mistake, I would rather have seen all controls on the rear but spread across both ear cups instead. The ANC switch isn't particularly tactile either, I would have preferred a button to a switch here. But this brings me onto ANC...It isn't exactly 'misleading' to call this ANC, but this is very far from the ANC offered in flagship headphones. You're going to get far more noise blocked out from the passive noise isolation (the headphones blocking out noise simply by covering your ears) than with the ANC feature. For me, the headphones are missing the 'active' part of ANC, because they simply produce white noise to block out sound - they don't adapt to the external noise at all and the strength of the cancellation is quite low (you might even struggle to notice a difference). They do block out slightly more noise with the feature turned on, but for the sake of battery life I opted to leave it off since there was very little difference here. I should note that at £39.99 it would be perfectly reasonable to just not have the ANC feature at all, and you need to spend upwards of £150-200 for decent ANC.Overall, there is such a huge market for people who don't want to pay flagship £200-300+ prices and who aren't that fussed about having the absolute best audio, ANC, features etc. The TaoTronics TT-BH047 fit nicely into this category and are one of the best headphones available at this price point.Pros:- Fantastic value, £39.99 is very reasonable- Neutral, balanced audio- Amazing battery life- Great connectivity- Fairly low latency (good enough for watching movies)Cons:- On-ear, not 'over-ear' as claimed- ANC is very weak- Ear soreness sets in after 2-3 hours due to on-ear design- Odd button placement- Feature-light (no companion app or custom EQ)

DECEPCION TOTAL
