Maidenform Women's Comfort Devotion Extra-Coverage Bra

I finally found a bra that fits my needs well. I am a mom of 5 so my breast arent full and perky by far. I have more skin than volume and one boob is about 1/2 size bigger than the other. I originally bought the Maidenform Comfort Devotion Demi T-shirt Bra style #09402 in store at Kohls but my boobs slightly popped out of the top. But I loved the fit of this bra so I looked for a full coverage in the same type of bra and I found this Maidenform Comfort Devotion-Extra Coverage bra #09436 on Amazon. I ordered 2 in my best size, 34C in the black and another in white. They both fit good. Comfortable and my girls are peaking out. Now I don't feel insecure wearing tight fited shirts.

If you are anything over a 38" but a B cup you will find it IMPOSSIBLE to buy a bra. This bra's B cup for 42 inch literally figs over an entire 38B bra. The cup is huge and clearly not a B at all. Apparently if you are larger than 38 inches ALL manufacturers especially Maidenform ASSUME that your bosom is larger too. I have tried this bra in both 40" and 42" for a B cup and it's just wrong - the cup over a 38" size is not a B at all. The 40" at least has just two claps. The 42" has three clasps and not only toes my 38B Maidenform fit completely inside the 42B Maidenform but the distance in the front between the cups is almost the same and the length at the back of the bra is only 1" different between the two. Why they think the inches around your body should be added to the base of the cup I don't know, and why the cup itself is so huge I don't know. So yeah, if you are a B cup you better stay at 38" or smaller or you will never find a bra (sport bra standard or otherwise) that fits without an increase in height and depth at the front.

this is the most comfortable underwire bra i've ever had and i've been buying bras for more than 40 years!there are so many bras out there that don't fit me at all so that suggests this one won't fit everyone. however, the design seems so good you may want to give it a try! i tried it on first at macy's and bought it in black and navy there then came here for this one.this grey is a great color by the way! it isn't all shiny the way it appears in the photo...only the top edges are sort of satiny/shiny. i think it's really pretty and i've also worn it as a bathing suit top!bra cups are rarely thin enough for my preference but these soft, formed cups are thankfully not really padded. they do totally conceal erect nipples if that's what you're after. i've washed this something like half a dozen times so far (in washing machine inside net bag) then reshape the cups (they sort of "spring" back into shape) and air dry - so far no visible wear at all. the cups do get squished when packed for traveling (i turn one cup inside out, nest the 2 cups, then fill the cups with panties to mitigate squishing/creasing) and so far they pop back into perfect shape when unpacked.the straps stay up!!!!! OMG that's a huge point for me because my clavicles and shoulder joints are on a downward slant. all my life bra straps have tended to slip off me. i think the reason these work is a combination of the stretchiness of the straps plus that they connect to the back of the bra a bit closer to the center.everything about this bra is comfortable...i can't even feel the wire! or the straps! the whole thing is very stretchy yet somehow manages to be supportive! (i'm a 38DD so no easy feat.)i've never bought full coverage before much less extra coverage but the helpful lady at macy's suggested this one when absolutely nothing else was working. i was concerned "extra coverage" would mean prudish looking but it doesn't do that at all. AND under clothing my tits look great! i always used to wear push up bras (before push up bras became synonymous with an inch or 2 of padding) because my boobs have always been a bit "low slung" and this one actually does a better job of lifting!a bonus is there is no tag - label info is printed on.finding a great bra is truly wonderful thing and that's what this one is for me.one very slight negative (although with this fab fit maybe it has to be this way for me): it doesn't really show in the pic (that looks like a smaller size) but in my size the rounded bottoms of the cups are quite a bit lower than the band between the cups and it looks slightly goofy when it's on. see pic.btw i bought 1 ea of 2 other styles within the maidenform comfort devotion line (one with memory foam because i was curious) and neither of them fit me nearly as well or as comfortably as this particular model.

I am about to order my 4th of these bras. I recently purchased a similar bra in a store and as soon as I put it on, I can’t wait to take it off. But THIS bra is totally different. I only take it off because I have to! It has got great support and is very comfortable. I never feel it digging in or ever have to adjust. I suppose it fits exactly how a good bra should.Edit: Still love them but one of the 4 I own has started to come apart. I hope it’s a fluke and I love them so much that I am probably going to buy a replacement.But buyer beware they are glued together.

Written by my wife: These are the BEST bras! I bought a couple of these bras a few years ago at a department store and loved them. I am thrilled that I found the exact same bra on Amazon for less than half the price I originally paid! They are so comfortable, give great support, give the slightest amount of push-up and fit perfectly. Having nursed three children, I have to have underwire and a little lift and this bra is perfect. The underwire is comfy, the cups are padded just enough for no-show and the adjustable straps are wonderful since I’m petite at 5 ft tall. I’m 116 lbs and wear a 34C, and the 34C fits me perfectly. I highly recommend this bra!!!

This could be a really great bra. I love the way it fits and the thickness of the cups are really nice. However, there is a huge issue with the bra - it has so many rough seams that itch and scratch your skin I can barely keep it on for more than 10 minutes. I tried to cut them out, but a few of them are crucial to the structure of the bra so I have to leave them. I would not purchase this again.

I gave this bra two stars for its comfort and soft materials, but ultimately, I just don't wear it. The cups are too pointy and wide set for me. I feel like centers of the cups are significantly offset where...my centers are. This is particularly noticeable to me because the cups are a bit more pointy than round. They may provide a nice "natural" shape on some but every time I put it on I feel like I'm channeling Madonna, and not in a good way. Admittedly, I do prefer my bands looser and may have been better off going with a 36DD instead of a 38D in this bra, but that still wouldn't have changed the cup shape. Overall, it's a no for me. I tried it for a few wears hoping I'd change my mind...because it is comfortable, but nope, still a no.

I love Maidenform and this bra does not disappoint. It is soft and comfortable but provides full coverage and support. It is also very pretty. I find it difficult to find bras with lovely patterns, but Maidenform always comes through in that department. I love it and will be purchasing another one. I wear a size 36C and the bra was true to size. Very happy with the purchase overall.

Very smooth and soft fabric, has a good coverage but perhaps not for bigger breasts.very comfortable and looks great.I like the clean looks very much - no laces or stuff.

Do yourself a favor and BUY this bra.Have you ever stared defeated at your drawer of bras feeling only apprehension for the rest of your day? Have you started asking yourself: will the underwire suddenly protrude from my shirt? will I again be humiliated somehow by a vengeful undergarment that is meant to make me feel dressed, and together? will the straps yearn for adventure and at random choose their own size at 2 pm so that i am constantly and compulsively yanking at my shoulder in irritation? will the underbust band decide that it belongs so near to my neck at the back that it drifts up there and causes all kinds of fit disasters and disarray? exactly what shame will by bra cause today that will linger so long emotionally that i have even more imaginary arguments in the shower that even after fictionally winning, still sting somehow?Perhaps after a bra has caused you such emotional trauma you hurl it across the room to lie in a shame pile of other angrily discarded undergarments that you have no idea what to do with.... can I fix it somehow? is it even worth another chance? is the padding similar to a magic eraser? could it earn back its worth being used to clean that weird corner of the shower? should i harvest the hooks and eyes for some unknown future requirement of hoarded craft supplies?NO.this is all no longer necessary. I happened upon Maidenform brand of bras completely by accident/necessity 2 summers ago. and now, after having had so many irritating days with my bras, have come to realize, the only 2 in my drawer that were amazing. perfect. stood their ground, and really were there for me on some...underwear-wise existential level, were maid by the brand Maidenform. having realized this, I have made the decision to only ever buy this brand from now on, or perhaps those that are basically the same. I now own 6 maidenform Bras, all of which are perfect. THIS exact bra from THIS listing included. I purchased this exact style and brand because it is the same as the very first Maidenform bra I discovered 2 summers ago, that is now showing only minimal signs of wear, and still fits like a dream, and has never ended up in a pile of anger, or generated embarrassing nightmares. THIS is the best bra i have ever owned. i do not have 3 or 4 mysterious boobs, i do not have weird semi circles under my shirt. i don't suddenly have blood in the middle of my chest from an underwire malfunction of epic humiliation-style proportions. I no longer pick at my shoulder lifting a rogue strap in irritation.that's in the past now that I have found a bra I can trust. believe me, this is a good thing to belong in your comfort zone. this bra and this brand are the best thing I have done for myself in the category of underwear since i started wearing bras at the ripe age of 14 . it has been 2 decades of on and off awkward bra situations. but not anymore.

Considering the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this bra, I gave it a chance. I ordered my 34D, and was very disappointed! The only good thing I can say about it is, the fabric felt very nice. But it does not, by any stretch of the imagination, deserve the description "extra coverage" in the title. This is a plunge bra. It didn't cover up enough on the sides or in the middle. I am absolutely sure of what my bra size is (recently re-measured myself, watched some Youtube vids on the subject, and then went local bra-shopping/fitting), but the cups were so small, I was spilling out of it. Furthermore, the band fit far too loose. When we buy a new bra, all women should make sure the hooks are on the loosest setting, because as you wear it, it will stretch out, and you want to get a reasonable amount of use out of it, don't you? These had to be hooked to the tightest hooks to give me even a little bit of support. Returning this bra immediately. If I could find a Maidenform bra in the same fabric, but was instead a 32DD, I might give it a try, but this particular style does not seem to come in that size.

This is my third purchase of this style of bra. I find they last me one year and then an underwire breaks, but I think that's to be expected with normal washing. They are super soft and fit me exactly as I would expect. Material is super soft and I like the extra coverage.

The reviews didn't lie, this bra is a dream come true. So soft, nicely padded without being overly shaped. Straps are wide enough and solid, and tend to not slide down. I wear a 42B, which is hard to find in stores, hence buying online is the way to go. I am so impressed with this bra!

I used to really like maidenform. I still have a bra i got from them just a few years ago. Its in perfect condition. I don't know if they changed manufacturers or just processes but in just 2 washes this bra has the outside fabric coming off. It wasn't stitched on, it was glued. That glue started to wear off and have the fabric pulling away from the cup where it was glued down. I now have to sew my brand new, not very cheap bra. I bought a few from maidenform this time and both this one and another one have the same issue.

Okay the product is exactly as shown. The colour is nice and the material is good. It is exactly what I expected and fit very well for my size (36D). The problem is that the sewed hard corners on the edges of the closure clasp made my back itch. I do not recommend this item because of that but everything else about it is great. If you can sew and fix that, then get it.

Super soft, full coverage, comfortable. I do find the underwire to come up a little high at the armpit which is somewhat uncomfortable but not a huge deal. By far my favourite bras.

This is a well built bra but the sizing is so off. Purchased my regular size and the cup was not nearly big enough. It is a demi cup at best not full coverage as described
