SalonPro Orbiting Halo Infrared Salon Hair Color Processor Dryer Pro Accelerator w/Rolling Base (Grey)

Very disappointed in Salon Pro. They are refusing to stand by their product. I purchased this on August 12, 2019 and the heat strip quit working March 5, 2020. They informed me since I purchase this on Amazon they do not stand by their product. No warranty at all. Why they are selling on Amazon if they are going to punish their loyal clients I am puzzled by. Really liked the results form using it but pretty expensive for less than 7 months of service.

Update !It completely stopped working . I emailed the company and they said I had to pay 175$ for a new heating element !!!! They said the warranty is only 6 months when you buy through Amazon vs 1 year if you purchase directly through them. This thing is not worth the money. Barely used and it just stops working ?! Way too expensive for this to happen and the company doesn’t stand behind the product. Super shady.Have had this less than a year in a very small salon. Maybe 3 of us use this occasionally. We were also shut down due to Covid , so no use during that time. The temperature is up and we tried all the settings but there is no heat now. Also, this thing sounds like a gunshot going off randomly while clients are processing . I emailed the company several months ago but they said it’s normal . It scares clients as they are sitting under it and it goes off . Odd! Waste of money!

Machine made a clicking noise when I first received it and then it started smoking!!! No help from the company!!’

I give this product only a 2 star for the fact that when I ordered in Sept’19, I didn’t get it until October. Then in January the heating element went out and I had to get a replacement and that didn’t come in until end of February beginning of March. Then CORONA happened and we were closed for 8weeks. Came back and used my color processor for a month and it starts to smoke and the wiring starts catching fire. I have now been trying for almost 2 weeks to get in contact with someone but they are either closed due to time zone differences and my availability to call, or they are open but no one is able to take my call and I have to leave a voicemail.With all of that being said, when my processor DOES work, I LOVE IT!!! It truly does cut my processing times down and gives full color penetration resulting in deeper, more shiny, and longer lasting colors.*update: they emailed me right after leaving a voicemail saying sorry I’m having trouble but because I’m past the 6 month warranty I have to pay them $175 more to send a replacement!!! I haven’t even gotten to use the dang thing for 6 months because of it being broken and then being closed!!! LIVID is the only appropriate term I can use on this forum!!!! I’m waiting for a reply email.

This item stopped working 1and 1/2 months after I bought it. I’m waiting for a part to be sent so I can fix it myself. Never have I bought something so expensive only to have the company I purchased it from send me a heating mechanism to replace myself. I’ve had a non working halo dryer now for 2 months. My stylists and I are so dissatisfied with this product.

There is NO warranty if you purchase this item through Amazon. I’ve had this item for less than a year and the heating coil stopped working and Salon Pro told me the replacement part was $175. Not worth the money if you have to replace the heating coil every year.
