Bestop 52405-11 Retractable Sunshade for Use with Soft Tops

This is sweet, I use it when I park to keep my black leather from getting 1000 degrees. very nice construction and very high quality. Complaints I've heard from others are its noisy when driving with the top off, shut the hell up, your tops off go buy a Prius

Looks and works great. Only complaint is that the metal bracket that attached to the roll cage vibrates at high speeds. I know a few of you were kidding about complaining about noise, but it's loud. To solve it, loosen the two mounting bolts, stick a piece of weather stripping between the bracket and the roll cage. It will quiet it right down. Other than that, this is a sweet product and beats fooling with a shade mounted with a bunch of bungee cords.

I have had my sun shade for several months and worked well. The install process was easy and even worked at higher speeds. It is a thinner screen, used mostly on slower speeds and back roads but even held up on the highway. It does make a huge difference when the sun is out and convenient to just pull the shade.

Works great if you're out on the trail. Flaps like crazy in the wind at highway speeds. Would've like to see Bestop use a little more spring tension in the retractor mechanism to keep it taught and use a heavier material. The pull tab in the center broke after about a month. It doesn't seem substantial enough to stand up to the stresses of attaching/detaching to/from the footman loops. I Never went through the warranty process because it would just be replaced with the same poor quality part. I riveted a piece of leather where the old tab was and now it works great.

This retractable shade works great and is well designed and it really helps us Bald guys!!

I returned this because I mistakenly ordered the wrong one but I found the right one elsewhere and it is a great add to our Jeep

The media could not be loaded. Easy Install, simple to use. Sheids from wind and sun well. But don't like how badly it flapps around in wind especially on hwy.

Didn't fit, but made some adjustments to make it work. Otherwise I really like it. PLEASE read before you purchase this product to see if it really fits your Jeep soft top...
