Very economical replacement for cooking sprays.
I bought this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I used to use a lot of nonstick cooking sprays but I find this little item to be my more economical. I can brush a bit of oil on a skillet and I can bush it on a muffin tin or bundle pan. I highly recommend this inexpensive little oil brush.

It's OK.
It's exactly as described but I wish some sort of directions had been included. Why is the bottom of the oil container spring loaded? Are there any tricks to swabbing a bbq grill with it? I expect it to replace the paper towel and petri dish as a safer, more effective item around the grill but I may be surprised. Any suggestions about keeping it clean?

Fibers come off with first few uses so far
Fibers have come off the brush in the first few uses so far. The spring in the bottom meant to keep the brush from getting over saturated also feels a little too weak. OK for the price, but I will maybe get a new brush and stronger spring in a few weeks.

Nice and convenient oil baster
Nice and convenient oil baster. Needed something like this to oil my Taiyaki pan. Sometimes spraying oil is messy, but this controls the amount and mess of greasing a pan. Might buy one more for my coconut oil; this one for my olive oil.

cool little kitchen gadget I LOVE IT!
This is a cool little kitchen gadget to quickly swipe oil onto my pans without pouring way too much on when I use the container. I LOVE IT! I just wish the top cap snapped down or twisted shut rather than just resting on top of the container.

Worth buying for making takoyaki
What I expected, perfect for making takoyaki. Beats using a paper towel to oil a takoyaki pan.

Don't waste your money!
Looking for a product to easily, neatly and cleanly oil my grill before using. If used when the grill is hot the only thing you will do is burn your hand! The small "mop" barely covers any area and the handle is approx. 2". Better use a sheet of crumpled-up paper towel with tongs. This is a gimmick! If I could have given less than 1 star I would have. Just junk! Live and learn.

Gotta love them Japanese gadgets
I'd only seen these in Japanese cooking tutorials and never knew how to find one... until now! I've used it twice and it seems very well built, doesn't tip, and will last me a long time.
