There Are Different Types of Two Pin Bases
Who would have thunk that replacing a light bulb would be a multi-week task. I ordered this to replace a relatively obscure two-pin Phillips Alto PL-C 13W/835/2P Compact Fluorescent Light.Apparently there are two different types of two pin bases. One has two retaining clips (mine) with the two pins in line with the clips; the other has one retaining clip with the pins positioned kitty-corner.I don't want to downrate the seller--the light is probably fine. But they should highlight this to reduce needless returns.

So far so good.
I replaced the CFL lights in one Panasonic WhisperLite Fan FV-11VQL4. the CFLs never seemed to last that long and they were also a bit flaky, flickering at times. I removed the balllast from the fan/light combo fixture and put these in. The lights happened to be in a module that is connected to the fan assembly by a quick disconnect connector. 3 screws and one connector later I had the light assembly on my table. It is not that easy to pull out the ballast and reconnect without it. The wire routing is a bit tight, But at the comfort of the table is was not bad. If this had to be done overhead in a fan enclosure in the ceiling this would have been a non starterThese 13 watt lights are substantially brighter than the 18 watt ones they replaced (FDS18E35/4). If they last the typical 25,000+ hours of a LED, this will have been a good investment. I am going to buy 3 more sets to do the other fan/light combos in the house.Do note these are single sided lights appropriate for down-lighting

1 of 2 lamp bases wouldn't rotate
Since these have all the LED's on one side, the fact that the base rotates is important so you can point the light properly once it's installed in the fixture. One of two lamps in the package won't turn so you have to hope it installs in the fixture pointing in an acceptable direction. The other lamp rotated fine.

Don't waste your time - both units failed almost immediately
I ordered these to replace a CFL bulb in a bathroom fan/light.I bypassed the ballast, following the instructions and expecting that the initial surge from the ballast would probably fry these bulbs. The first unit worked fine when first tested briefly. The second unit popped and failed immediately.I installed the first unit. The first issue was that the these bulbs (4.8 oz) are much heavier than the CFL bulb (1.8 oz), so the fixture barely stayed in place. It's held in place by friction on two spring steel supports. The unit failed after being on for 1-2 minutes.I'm returning both failed units and will be looking for another solution.

Works great
I have used this light bulb every day for nine months, and it works great. The wiring was easy to modify (to bypass the ballast) using the enclosed instructions. This light bulb is brighter than the compact fluorescent bulb it replaced, and quiet, and I am very happy with its performance.

They work.
Great bulbs to replace fixtures for a business. There was some modification necessary but it was pretty straight forward. Hopefully they last. if they dont i will update.

Blew in 2 minutes. That says it all.
The base has a small crack. Ok, light warmth is nice. Installed it and think I can live with the imperfection. Then in 2 minutes, lights out. It blew. That says it all.

Totally fine replacement
Instant on! Bright! Color temp as advertised. No flicker. Way better than the CFL it replaced. I cut out the ballast and used wire nuts to bypass it. Just took a couple of minutes.
