Q: Are these rashguards ranked?

No. You could probably use them as a ranked one at your gym, but if you need a ranked rashguard for a competition, I would consider a different one.

Q: I’m 5’11” and 185lbs with 42.5” chest and 33” waist. do you recommend the l or xl?

If you’ve ever owned another Hayabusa, go with the same size. If I were you, I’d go for an M or L. Forget about XL.

Q: Can you swim in this regularly?

The rashguard is designed for jiu-jitsu, so it is sturdy, but the material is meant to wick sweat and keep you cool. You could definitely swim in it. I am not sure how the chlorine would affect the colors or if it would deteriorate the material.

Q: Is that shirts can be use for wave surfing?

Because these were designed to be used in the water or for sun protection, we cannot make any guarantees about how it will hold up to excessive sun exposure or salt water.
