🔥 Elevate Your Cooking Game with Timeless Cast Iron!
The IMUSA Preseasoned Cast Iron Comal makes traditional cooking a snap! Cast Iron is ideal for stovetop and/or oven use as it is highly heat resistant. The sturdy construction is made to last a lifetime. It is easy to clean, but it is not intended to be washed in the dishwasher. Using Cast Iron products is considered healthier than cooking with other materials because it allows the use of less oil and boosts your iron intake.

Works great!
It's great. It heats up quickly and evenly. It's also really sturdy. From the photo it seems like the lip on the outer rim is elevated and would make it hard to flip tortillas by hand, but It's not. Good price and good quality.

IMUSA USA Preseasoned Cast Iron Comal 9.5-Inch, Black
IMUSA USA Preseasoned Cast Iron Comal 9.5-Inch, Black: This comal is a little smaller than I expected, but works ok for me, as my tortilla recipe makes 8 1/2" whole-grain tortillas. Comes with seasoning and maintenance directions. It weighs about 4.5 pounds, which is why I chose it, as my wrists can't handle heavy weight (one reason I gave away my cast iron skillet years ago). It fits on the electric burner perfectly (NOT a glass stove top). Didn't need a mitt, as I left it on the burner and just scooped up the tortilla after the cheese melted. No more overheating my non-stick pans! Cooked tortillas and chicken strips for lime chicken (recipe not included), so it's not just for tortillas.

Wow!!! Great item!!! Except the 'preseasoning'...
I use these with my gas stove to either directly cook on, or as a heat diffuser for putting another pan on it. Great for a quick pan fried steak!!! But, as with ANY advertised 'preseasoned' cast iron product, scrub the heck out'a it when ya get it, and season it properly '3' times... preseasoning never works!!!

What's a comal?!
I had a party awhile ago and was trying to warm tortillas for a crowd. A fried asked, "you don't have a comal?" I thought, "what the heck is a comal?" So the next day I googled it! OH! THAT THING MY MOM HAD? I never knew what it was called but had been using one my entire life! So I instantly went to Amazon and bought this one! It makes quesadillas exactly the way my Mom used to make them when I was a kid! Pancakes and grilled cheeses too! It'll take ages for it to be as well worn as Mom's was, but I know I'll have it for a long time, so someday! Get one! And start grilling up some tasty little snackies!

Don’t buy
Terrible. Seasoned it with cooking oil. The next day I used it to heat up tortillas and it started to stick. Then I washed it and it got rusted. Very disappointed.
