Oster DuraCeramic Belgian Flip Waffle Maker CKSTWF11WC-ECO, Black

LOVE LOVE LOVE this waffle maker!!!! Other reviews have stated they had issue with the handle breaking-- but I haven't had that issue. I LOVE that my waffles don't stick! I LOVE that they almost fall right out! I LOVE that I don't have to stress about forgetting to oil it-- because I DON'T have to!!! I used to cook with cast iron waffle makers, but we moved recently and aren't able to use it right now and since we NEED our waffles-- I purchased this. It is a great alternative. It makes crispy waffles but it takes a bit of a learning curve. I leave the waffles on past the light telling me they are done because they just aren't done or crispy enough. Once I figured that out-- I have been more than pleased with this product! I would purchase this again-- in fact I will be getting another one to speed up our family breakfasts. THANK YOU OSTER for a ceramic finish option so we don't have to get teflon!

My grandkids love breakfast and constantly are asking for pancakes and waffles. I decided to purchase this Oster because of their claim of perfect waffles and easy clean-up. Right ON!!! I purchased a large bag of SAM's Club pancake mix and there is a recipe to use this mix to make waffles. I made my first batch and was totally amazed on how easy this waffle maker was to use and more importantly how easy it was to clean it.I made my second batch and decided to be more creative so I added some freeze-dried strawberries, some freeze-dried apples, and on another batch I added some mini-M&M's. I received so many hugs and kisses from my grandkids. Well, I decided to take these waffles and freeze them in baggies. I just pop them into a toaster and within minutes I have perfect waffles that taste just as fresh as the day I made them. This is a great little breakfast machine that is guaranteed to perk up a sleepy face. One more thing...I also experimented with scrambled eggs with a little salsa and cheese. Although they came out great I would recommend placing the cheese on top of your cooked eggs (after-the-fact). The cheese did create a little extra mess. However the final cooked egg resembled the same shape as the waffle and tasted G-R-E-A-T!!! Your family will love this waffle maker and will love you for purchasing it!

I really wanted this to work. I can't handle the normal nonstick so I searched for the nonstick ceramic type of waffle irons. The nonstick part works great but the waffles were all soft and spongy. I like crisp waffles and this just didn't turn out a good waffle. Heat turned all the way up and left them to cook through two cycles of the light and they were still light in color. I tried cooking till the color was correct but they still would be spongy.Bottom line this just doesn't have the power to make a crispy waffle. In the end, we pitched it as we kept it longer than the return time while experimenting. If you choose to buy this make sure your happy with the result before your return time ends.

Unfortunately, I bought this against my better judgement. This arrived broken, as others stated. It also arrived in it's packing box (as in, the box it is sold in the store) instead of a shipping box, which I didn't particularly like. Re-packing this was a pain since it was broken. Amazon offers a free pick-up and label print service through UPS which I am utilizing as dragging kids to the USPS to return a damaged item is not my idea of convenient...so that's nice. It seems the quality of this product is pretty low...the ceramic feature itself appears to be nice, but the weight of it must be too heavy for the plastic casing that holds it since the swivel-arm that encases the heating elements arrived broken and proceeded to break and crack more as I was trying to re-package it for its return. I would save your money and time and buy a different brand. Too bad, because I was hoping for a square swivel waffle iron :/

We like this Iron. The ceramic surface is about as slick as Teflon and does need a spray of Pam of something like it every third of fourth waffle. The best part of this Iron is we are not eating bits of Teflon any more. It appears to be sturdy and should last for years to come. The only negitive part of this Iron is the drip pan, it's very thin and the Chines could have spent two extra penny's to make it a little thinker.

Have had it for several months now used every week. It truly is non stick! The only thing I don't like is there is no indicator of when waffle is done. I would like a small noise or beep so when I'm busy in the kitchen I don't lose track. They can overcook pretty easily. Finding the right dial temp for your mix takes a little time as well. Have not had an issuer with drippings I just don't over fill. Simple.

I have nothing nice to say about this product. This is one of the cheapest appliances I have ever purchased. Notably, I am using it in a commercial context. However, after making no more than 5 or 6 waffles the tiny screws on the handles were already loose. It is also incredibly imbalanced, which makes me it difficult to maneuver and downright dangerous when hot. Also, I'm not sure I've ever seen a smaller waffle - nothing "Belgian" about these waffles.

This waffle maker is fabulous. I don't know why people are claiming that it is hard to clean. If you follow the instructions, you avoid overfilling (which would obviously lead to overflow and mess). There is a catch tray for overflow anyway. And the instructions also clearly state not to open until the timer is up because the waffles could stick. Duh. Oh, and the ceramic cooks WAY better than the toxic teflon. We LOVE this product. We look forward to weekends when we can make these!!

No cocina parejo, el centro queda café y las esquinas quedan más blancas. No es tan Rápida como dice. Lo único que está muy bien es la cerámica, no se pega NADA y es muy fácil de limpiar.
