I picked up this rope for a different intent than the listed suggestions, no surprise, and took some time to get familiar with it before I put it to work.Pros: Incredibly soft Inexpensive and easy to buy more of No unexpected core, so tension stays the same through use Did I mention it's soft? It has friction enough to hold ties and knots with relative easeCons: No whipping/aglet/etc. Can and will fray because point above So soft that if it gets even slightly caught on something, you'll have tufts and/or fluffs Sturdy enough (but not suggested for suspension without risk) Picks up hair, fur, fuzz, etc. upon contact.Overall, if you're looking for something to craft with, practice on, whatever, this isn't an outright bad rope. But I wouldn't suggest using it for long term or for any detailed use without prepping up some of your own whippings. Good luck!

the rope is such an adorable color and very good for beginners. we’ve already used it a couple times since getting it and the person “wearing” it says its not too uncomfortable even when tied tightly, and can be worn for an extended period of time without any pain because it is that soft. and although it’s very soft, it’s very durable and strong. it’s long and easy to work with. for beginners or experienced users, this rope is such a good deal. for that price it goes above and beyond what it should! we love it so much and will most likely order more soon :)

I use it for my girl shibari style, it does what it needs to. Side note she told me it started to hurt after a few hours.
