My Workhorse
First I have to thank the Amazon reviewers for leading me to this pan. I have and treasure one just like it and despaired of ever finding another. A careful reading of comments about this pan and I realized it is exactly what I was looking for. The reason I love this light weight yet sturdy pan is that I often use it to bake recipes that require me to cut in the pan (i.e. baklava, family sized pizzas), so all of those lovely non-stick coated pans would be quickly ruined if I used them. I have a pan drawer full of brand name non-coated sheets that are heavy gauge combinations of aluminum and steel, but they are not dishwasher friendly (ugly dulling) and "heavy" is no misnomer, they are bulky and heavy. I needed another light weight and dishwasher safe workhorse, and this is it. Now, I have read that some people are very concerned about warping. I won't kid you, I do hear this pan "Ting" in the oven and there is a slight bit of warping. I will attest, however, that I have never had a sheet cake or any other baked good come out of the oven with a crack or any sign that the small amount of warping has harmed the baked good. Finally, I love this pan because I do not have to treat it with kid gloves when it comes to cleaning it. Since it is not a non-stick pan, that baked on cheese will need some soaking and scrubbing before the pan is placed in the dishwasher. I can do "no fear scrubbing" because this pan can take it. Sure, it will quickly lose its youthful mirror like appearance, but a well worn tool is beautiful in its own way.

Used for years, what to know
I've used this pan since 2010 to bake cookies, roast vegetables, etc. It's a good pan, not great, and I'll explain why. This pan is thin. That means it's good for heating up quickly in the oven, but it warps, with a bang. If the food is heavy enough, it won't, but only the heaviest cookies will weigh it down.Stainless steel gives me the bake I want, as aluminum reflects too much heat not browning bottoms enough, and the dark-coated pans brown too much. Stainless makes the perfect balance in my baking opinion. Stainless pans/trays are relatively rare in the baking world; most are aluminum, or coated aluminum. This pan is best for cookies. It will roast vegetables as well, but the grooves around the outside end up draining all the roasting oil, and then it burns onto the pan over time. I'm okay with that, as it ends up a cosmetic issue only.Current pricing of $25 makes this pan not worth it. I paid about $16 in 2010, and about $14 in 2018 (yes the price went down over time). At the current price of $25, that's basically double, not worth it for a very thin sheet pan. Most other pans, although not stainless steel, are significantly cheaper. I wanted to get a third pan, but at this price, maybe not.

Don't waste your money!!!!!!!
This sheet pan is so thin and the worst part so far is that there is a paper sheet stuck to the stainless steel and it's IMPOSSIBLE to get off. I have used cooking oil on it and a plastic spatula in an attempt to get the tape gunk off. That didn't work at all. I don't want to resort to scraping it off with a blade because I don't want to damage the metal. As I stated it is so thin already. The other stainless steel pan I have had for at least 12 years is made in America by West Bend Kitchen Craft. That pan is excellent and in perfect condition.I'm hoping to get a hold of NORPRO this morning. Not pleased so far though!Same Day... After calling the NORPRO customer service I am even more disappointed than I was to begin with. They told me to call Amazon to deal with it, and then Amazon could send me a return label, to return the product. WOW! She even told me they had had "issues in the past with the tape gum sticking to the pans and had hoped that was solved, and went on to say that she hadn't heard of dents on the pans.In earlier review I didn't comment on the 5 dents on the pan because I was so focused on trying to get the gummy tape off of the pan, and in frustration I stopped to comment on the sticky mess, that by the way NEVER did come off.Horrible product and matching customer service!

Healthy choice
We picked these because stainless steel isn’t likely to have any lead or any forever chemicals. They also fit perfectly 2 side by side on one oven wrack in my double ovens which makes it awesome for holidays.

Nice finish but buckles in the oven
I've had this pan for about 2 years now and my conclusion is it is OK at best. I find myself looking for an alternate when I reach for a sheet pan.Things I like:-Nice shiny SS finish; that has kept it's finish with abuse-good lip on the pan to catch spills; I often bake calzones on it which often leak tomato juice-the lip contains spillage (see dislikes)-SS is dishwasher safe-nice size for smaller items like the reheat of a slice of pizza or twoDislikes:-When heated the pan distorts; This is the downfall of this pan is at about 350 degrees it will warp instantaneously and no longer be flat. If there is any liquid in the pan (drippings) they most likely be thrown from the pan all over the oven.-Just a bit small for cookies; but the distortion problem prevents you from using it for most cookies in fear of flying cookies!I'm not sure what is better out there....I just ordered a tri-ply sheet to see if it would be better. Stay tuned.Hope this helps
