Got this for our daughter’s school play. Adapted the shoulders so it would fit a person. Worked great.

We returned it but still gave it 4 stars. Because it’s exactly as described. The size description was accurate.It smelled like gasoline. It costs $15 so I’m not sure why I was surprised by the smell.My dog tried to eat it. I’m 44, I’m not sure why I was surprised and frustrated that my dog tried to eat 8 furry sticks. But here we are…It didn’t move like it did on the cute YouTube videos. Maybe they bought a different one. Idk.I’m put a lot of stock into a $15 dog costume to entertain me and my neighborhood. That’s bad on me. Too much pressure for a $15 piece of fuzz.I returned it immediately. It was out of the package maybe 2 minutes. 30 seconds was me grumbling about the smell. 30 seconds was my husband complaining that our dog is weird because he was trying to eat it.Yeah, the dog is the weird one here. Not the humans dressing a dog like a human and REI k or treating…Another 30 seconds was spent wrestling my 25 lb fur baby into this thing.30 seconds trying to get him to walk with it on.All said, it’s exactly as described. It costs $15. It’s worth no more and no less.Maybe it will work for you. Idk.Happy Halloween.

I got this after I read all the reviews so I had my dog only wear it on Halloween for maybe 3 hours. During those three hours it slipped around on her back, the legs consistently fell out of place, and about an hour and a half in, some of the wires began tearing through the fabric.The upside to it was, she literally did not care whatsoever about it being on her back. It was lightweight and I got it for pretty cheap.

I tried to put this on my small skinny cat, my medium cat and my Fatty McFatterson kitty. On all of them it wouldn't stay up, with the carapace on top. Instead it always fell to the side with one set of legs sticking straight up in the air, and one dragging on the ground. My kitties are used to me sticking them in hoodies and costumes and are totally chill about it. Despite that, I couldn't get this to stay on properly, even after tightening the straps as much as I was willing to do.

The media could not be loaded. This costume is nothing like it looks in the Amazon pages. It is too cheap and looks horrible: a piece of black felt with long pipe cleaners stuck on it. The velcro fasteners do allow for size adjustments but they were so difficult to separate that my dog lost patience and bit me! Save your money! The photos are not what your dog will look like. I am tossing into the trash.Also item was supposed to be delivered on SUNDAY do I waited all day for FedEx to deliver. I called Customer Service of Amazon Monday afternoon. They said I had to wait until end of working day and to call back on Tuesday. I still had not received it but on Wednesday I was able to finally find someone in the motel office and they found the package. Once again, Amazon had used the postal service and not the MORE RELIABLE FedEx! I may drop my Prime membership instead of renewing as I no longer think that Amazon gives a rat's arse about my satisfaction as a customer.Bad delivery service for an ultra- cheap quality product at what should have been areasonable price!

The media could not be loaded. The top back part doesn’t lay down well, giving the costume a strange shape, but…I kind of like it that way. I don’t think it was on purpose just a result of packaging.
