Proper Fit
I bought my corning ware set about 20 years ago. While the containers have stand the test of time, the lids not so much. These are the perfect replacement fit and function for my corning ware set.

Great for food storage!
I have a F-2-B (2.8L) and F-6-B (1.8L) that it fits like a glove. I also have a F-6-B (1.5QT). It fits very tightly on this one and was a bit difficult, but I could still get it on the dish sufficiently (see dish on the left). I am satisfied with these for all of my dishes and I feel they’ll loosen up over time to fit the 1.5 QT better.

Quality lids
Quality lids, do the job. If I hadn't melted one of the originals on a glass cooktop, wouldn't have needed replacement...

Update...WILL fit your bowls. Was: Won't fit your bowls.
These lids fit differently from the lids that have been sold in the past. You have to press hard and slide your fingers along both parallel edges, kind of milking the lid toward the far end of the bowl. It fits tightly enough to sometimes create a vacuum. You can hear the air release when you remove the lid.Old and erroneous (my bad) review:These lids are the identical item #F-2-PC as the lids they would be replacing. They're too small/short for the 1.8L shallow bowls that the description identifies as well as the deeper 2.8L bowls. You will waste your money if you buy.

Fit my F-2-B 2.8 Liter Casserole
I have had my Corning Ware dishes for many years. My casserole dishes only had the glass lids which are great if you are at home but not very convenient if you are going to take them somewhere or if you need to store them in the refrigerator. I decided to see if I could find plastic lids to fit my dishes. I had great difficulty finding the ones that fit my dishes because mine have F-2-B 2.8 liter printed on the bottom. All the lids I looked at said 1.5 qt, 2.5 qt or 3 qt. I even went to Corning Ware's own website and still had no luck. I finally decided to give these a try (Corningware F-2-PC Oval French White 2.5-qt or 1.5-qt Lid (2 Pack). They fit perfectly. They have a very nice, tight fit so you don't have any liquid spilling out. I love them.
