Not really, since it moves a lot of air. I'm not sure how quiet something that forceful can be. I needed it to move air out the windows so the 20' x 20' room could then be detoxed (cats) with an air purifier. I guess whether the noise is a factor, tho it's not as bad as many others, is a personal choice.

Q: The instructions that were provided are awful. Anyone know how to connect the piece opposite of wheels to the leg?

You’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver. You can easily put the feet on with the orientation shown in the picture. They go on the side with the small holes I believe. I think I put the screws in the feet first to keep the bar in place, shook it a little to back them out, and then I screwed them into the support legs. It’s way easier to assemble the legs before connecting them to the fan. It was confusing for me as well.
