Este libre lo encontré muy entretenido y sirvió para lo que yo quería. Yo estaba buscando un libro para leer durante mi periodo de almuerzo en el trabajo. Un libro que se me hiciera fácil parar de leer y recomenzar a gusto. Si buscas algo más profundo que eso, este libro no es para ti. Si buscas algo entretenido para leer de vez en cuando, esto será perfecto.I would consider the story entertaining and great for a quick read. If you are looking for something entertaining to read after a long day of work, or during your breaks this one does the trick. If looking for something profound with a lot of character development and a lot of twists, this will not be it.

Buena historia, bien construida. No le puse cinco estrellas porque: 1 No me convence que que maten a una persona en el capítulo X y más adelante aparece como narradora, y 2 Todos los narradores en primera persona hablan igual, nada los diferencia.

Un libro extenso y aunque tal vez cae en el cliché, la historia es muy buena por cómo nos va llevando a través de los eventos que narran las mujeres.

I would not buy this book again. The plot is interesting but there is not much character development in my opinion. The main character is an alcoholic who misses her ex husband. She's a bit of a stalker throughout the book and you can't help but feel bad for her but be annoyed by her and her decisions. In fact, all 3 female characters are spend most of their time at home either drinking, taking care of the baby, relaxing on the porch and occasionally going to Pilates. All the men work during this time. I found that off putting that the female characters all had the same personality to be stereotypical women (not work, lonely, needs a man to be happy). I'd rather read a book that showed some role reversals/someone Some hope/power for woman. I am almost done with the book and I am enjoying it

Me encantó

I read this book in Spanish as a challenge for learning the language. It was my 2nd book in Spanish. I chose it for its relatively short length and the fact there were three narrator voices, though the primary voice was a little on the gruff side. (I also bought the audiolibro). Also it was a recent bestseller, so I thought I would read a little of what has been popular. The characters while interesting were somewhat difficult to like, though one could feel sorry for some. For anyone looking at the audiobook, the narrators spoke a little fast and gruff, compared to many other Spanish audiobooks I had listened to as samples. But that is something if you go to Amazon and listen to the sample (several minutes long) you should be able to tell if you are ready for it.
