Clearances
It was a great product but I should’ve done a little more investigating. I put it on an LS three in a 70 Chevelle that was lowered once I got the motor and realized the pan hung down too far. Should’ve got a different pan.

Ls swap
Worked well for my ls swap. Note that if you want the bottom pass side bellhousing bolt to align with the 4l60 bellhousing you need to also swap to a hummer h3 alpha 5.3 4l60e bellhousing. The bellhousing was only $70 so worth the effort to swap but some say it is not required to have both bottom bolts. You will also likely need a hummer h3 alpha transmission dipstick tube. Not the packaging is terrible from gm. My box also had a large hole it it because the pan tried to escape, bent dipstick tube and missing bolts. I don't think it is intended to be shipped via the traditional shipping methods.

Read if doing a ls swap
Great quality everything is Included. dip stick, oil pan gasket, new bolts. Great price. The only negative thing is that all the bolts are loose in the box.!!! Very important!!! The oil filter pick up tube threads do not match the Stock LQ4, LQ9, LY6 threads. You have to remove the pick up tube threads with a large Allen wrench on your stock pan and swap them to this pan OR you can take the pan with you to a auto parts store and try and Match up a oil filter. The last pic is the oil filter tube pulled out of the stock pan

Questioning
Bought for 6.0 I'm putting in my s10, I have to say I had the same issue as everyone else loose bolts and a little bit of rust. The quality of product is pretty good I only have one issue I'm trying to resolve. I measured my clearance between the oil pickup the bottom of the pan and it measures out to one and a half inches. Melling recommends 3/8" to 1/2". My machine shop modifies these pickups for 3/8" clearance. What clearance do stock ls engines with these pans and oil pickups come with.

Very, very good.
This did the job perfectly on my 97 S10 5.3 swap. Still had to notch the frame, but it sits perfectly even with the bottom of the frame. Looks like it belongs in the truck. Plus, it is a GM part, so its made very well. Also, it came with everything. I mean everything, the bolts, gasket, windage tray, dipstick tube, dipstick, and even the mounting bolt for it.

Missing bolts, recommended oil filter does not fit
I just received my oil pan kit and it is missing bolts and the recommended oil filter for this oil pan does NOT fit. I'll be contacting customer service to get this corrected OR returning this oil pan all together. Very disappointed in the way this was shipped, bolts loose, and purchased the recommended AC Delco oil filter that doesn't fit.

Worked ok
Used this pan for an LS swap into a G Body Elcamino. Fit crossmember great but still hangs well below crossmember. Roughly 2 inches. Lucky for me my car is not that low but definitely something to consider for your project. And the fitting for the oil filter does not work with stock # filter, threads are wrong. I think next time I might spend the extra money on a name brand swap pan.

Well made but hangs way too low for 68 nova
I'm not writing a bad review. Just warning it hangs way below the crossmember of a 68 nova. This thing is around 7.5" deepYou will need a pan no deeper than 6"I can't go over any speed bumps
