This is the best water filter I've had. The water tastes delicious, I can't taste the chlorine which I have with other filters. I was looking for a glass or metal jug and this company has both but I went with glass and I'm glad I did as it looks lovely. The lid stays on tightly while pouring.

Excellent product, easy set up and usage

I have done much research for the best possible water filter and jug, there are 100's all professing to be the best! I've had plastic ones before and in the UK we have much limescale in the water, leaving even one of them with a white coating that cannot be removed and looks awful.1. The PH restore Glass Jug is superb!2. The product is endorsed by a Dermatologist. There was a lab report on the product and not just for a single unit!!!!3. I compared the PH cartridge to the Santevia product and it is very similar if you compare the layers in the cartridge therefore providing better PH in the water as well as Alkaline.4. One of the most essential components of premium water is the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) & mineral content. In addition I purchased the mineral stones separately from Santevia and placed them in my PH glass jug.5. The water tastes great!!! I just need to find a way to test not only for the PH which 9-9.5 which is tops tops but for the rest.I hope this helps and remember to research the importance of having the right filter that gives you the maximum benefit in the quality of your drinking water. It's not about convenience.

What you need to know:GOOD things: flavor is 100% good. Product is not cheaply designed and durable. Functions as intended. PSA: spend an extra 5 bucks on a waterproof sealant and never deal with mold!BAD things: This product DOES NOT remove all impurities. It only filters about 60-70% of the stuff out. When you freeze the water into cubes, the impurities collect into flakes that you see when it melts. If you want 100% clean water, spend the money and get a REVERSE OSMOSIS system built under your sink. This is the only way to get 100% filtered water.

The media could not be loaded. Overall I’m disappointed in this product. The reasoning is belowGood points- Decent aesthetically but even then it’s very large.Bad points- No point in having the filter in place as the water leaks around it. It’s essentially unfiltered water- the jug itself came with a chipped handle.- poor quality overall

Received our pH water jug quickly. Easily set up+now enjoying great tasting water that is fit for drinking, unlike tap water, with it's contaminants! Do glad to have found this filtration system.

I was very excited when I found this jug - glass filters are so rare on the market. I really wanted to avoid as much plastic as possible and this one (although it has a plastic insert) comes as close as you can to this goal, without going for stainless steel (but then filters are also plastic, what can you do...).The jug is very elegant and easy to operate, even though it's fairly tall and can get quite heavy when full of water. I have fragile wrists so I pay attention to these details, but I must say that I don't suffer as the way the handle is positioned balances the weight very well. I use both filters to achieve maximum benefit and the water is lovely, although I'm still getting used to the slightly alkaline flavour. The jug is also very presentable and looks amazing on my kitchen counter.I didn't have any of the problems mentioned in other reviews, although I do agree that new P001 filters may need more than two water cycles before you'll be happy with the taste, etc (I was ok after 3 runs). The only downside is that you have to remember when to change the filters, but it doesn't bother me. I do wonder how long they will last though as I now filter water for all my cooking, but honestly, it feels like one of the best investments in my health I have made in a while. I highly recommend.

21 Nov 2020: 3 Stars — When I first reviewed this I gave it 5 stars, see below. One month in I have to downgrade it. The bamboo lid is a major design flaw. It gets mouldy & smelly & that contaminates the water in the chamber with the smell of mould. And it happens fast, in one month from purchase. I clean it using an anti-mould spray & this has removed the mould and the smell & I’ve washed the entire unit, so hopefully this will work. But really one shouldn't need to do all of this. The filter mechanism is excellent and the filling size is impressive. The mould prone bamboo lid is a disaster.12th Oct 2020: 5 Stars — Genuinely impressed. I brought this with the PH002 ULTRAFILTRATION (UF) MEMBRANE FILTER (sold separately, search B01IMRK1ZQ).The quality and taste of the water is out of this world. Well worth it.
