Vemico Battery is NOT compatible with the camera GoPro Hero 8 !!!

Although initially sceptical about using a non-GoPro accessory in my new GoPro 8, I have to say that these slightly higher powered batteries DO live up to their compatibility claim. So when you find out that GoPro's Couriers will not handle multiple battery units (something about safety...) here is an ideal solution (if you can ignore the warning about using "non GoPro products"). I hope I'm not let down later!

Three batteries and cases for carrying as spares, with a compact charger that resembles the apple unit. I have been please with the quality of the batteries and the charger. I have not had it long enough to talk about battery life and longevity but I gave 4/5 as they seem like they are good and certainly worth the price from the limited use I've given them. This 3 battery version is even better value than the two battery one. An inexpensive way of having extra juice for the camera on the hill!

I ordered this to take with me on my holiday. The delivery was quick through Prime delivery. It came in a small cardboard box. The quality of the product is good and it is well made. I charged the batteries before going on my holiday and the 3 batteries and 1 original battery was enough to last me during the holiday. The batteries are good enough and comparable to the original battery.Overall I am happy with the product as it worked well on my holiday.

Although this item was priced competitively, I have found the batteries to be less than I had expected. The charger works fine, on both the Vemico batteries, and my genuine GoPro batteries. In use though, I have found that the Vemico batteries do not offer as much run time as the Genuine GoPro ones, despite the fact that they offer an additional 300mah. Based on my camera settings, I am getting approximately 1hr 15 continuous run time from the genuine GoPro batteries, but only about 45 minutes from these Vemico ones, meaning I have have to change the batteries out far more often. Because of this I feel quite neutral in recommending them. I thought I'd be getting more bang for my buck, but sadly this is not the case.

Absolutely amazing! The batteries last the same length, if not longer than any other GoPro battery. When you put them in the Hero 8, it says there may be limited features, but from what I’ve found, you can use it exactly as normal. Pretty sure GoPro just says that so you spend £20 per piece on there batteries. Charger is awesome and can even charge official GoPro batteries. It charges really fast, and I usually plug it into a power bank and it lasts all day. Fabulous.

After about 8 recharges, one of the batteries would not recharge, and the battery charger itself would show a green light when the other battery was clearly not charged. When I contacte the company through the email address given in the 'guarantee' leaflet, the email bounced back. The company website, vemico.cn, is completely blank, containing no information whatsoever. A completely useless product. I have written to Amazon to get them to remove this seller.
