Because I suffer from 40 years neck and upper back pain, I have used many heating pad remedies. This one is the best one I have used. It seems very well made, and has a long heavy duty cord, with a very sturdy control box. The soft cover on the heating pad is thick, comfortable and is shaped to fit over the shoulders, and even closes at the front with strong magnet. The weight that made into the edges, helps the pad lay comfortably over the shoulders and maintain contact with your skin.

Updates: 10/29/2020 5 stars!So I contacted their customer service and they were quick to respond and sent me another replacement!! I had an issue like someone else also mentioned- the button started flashing and the power doesn’t stay on. The new one is working perfectly now I’m very happy!! If this stopped working... then I give up... hoping that won’t happen though. I highly recommend everyone to try this as its so reasonable and it’s great while working (haha) but customer service is also wonderful and reliable!**************************Be aware!!! It was great at first then all of sudden it stopped working after two months... so unfortunate I really liked this and would have been so nice to have it for this coming winter season. It is now out the return window I cannot do anything to do with this....

It does a great job. I only have a couple of complaints. (1.) It doesn't have an off button. If you only want to use it 20 minutes you either have to let it run until the auto shutoff happens in 2 hours or pull the cord from the wall, which I don't like to do, but don't want to leave it unattended for 2 hours. (2.) The bulkiness of the product doesn't allow it to drape over the shoulder without standing up a bit and not touching your skin.

Wonderful Heating pad for neck. So soft and wraps around the neck nice. The magnetic closure is perfect. The only downside and why I didn’t give 5 stars is because there is no off button. You have to unplug or let go for two hours.

Nice to have this for my upper back and shoulders, The little magnet on it keeps it from falling off all the time.

Loved it while it worked. Suddenly it stopped working. Now, the three heat level lights blink away and the heating pad never heats. Im outside the return window. Supposedly there is a 5 year warranty, but haven't been able to use it. Disappointing. Will not recommend this product.

I've had this heating pad for a year in April. I actually just realized you can use a misting spray bottle to get it moist for extra pain relief! I originally bought it for my neck and shoulder issues, but I also use it for my abdomen and back a lot, due to endometriosis and adenomyosis.For shoulder and neck use, it does pretty well. Every once in a while, it will feel too heavy on my shoulders, but I've found that if I prop up the cord correctly, it doesn't bother me. (the power cord and remote is the heaviest part of the heating pad). The magnetic clip is nice to have in the front.For abdomen and back, the shape is perfect for me to be able to wrap the shoulder parts around my waist, so it's sort of hugging my body. I'm a women's size l/xl for pants and a size large shirt (for reference). For people with a larger waste, this might not be as effective.I also saw another review mentioned not being able to power off the heating pad without unplugging it, and that's not true. You just have to hold down one of the buttons on the remote for 3 seconds, and it will turn off.

I purchased this items a few years back and I was very happy with it. It came to its natural end and I purchased a homedics package of heating pad/massager body wraps. I hated them. So I repurchased this one and I was so excited when it was delivered. My world of comfort is right again.
