Blue worked perfectly for our gender reveal party
We followed instructions and pre dissolved with 1 bottle into a 17,000 gal pool - 1 bottle was not enough so we opted to use another 2 bottles for a total of 3. It was perfect for our gender reveal party. We had minimal skin discoloration - it was quick to resolve with a soapy shower (only 2 kiddos had this and it was only around the neck (my guess is they probably already had an oily neck and it attracted the colorant). One guest wore a beige pair of shorts made of sweat pants material and they turned a beautiful shade of blue-honestly the blue was better than original color. One guest purposefully put a white tshirt in to see if it would dye and it also turned a beautiful shade of robin egg blue. None of the swimsuits turned blue - only cotton fabric. We are on day 3 after party and each day the dye has filtered out quite a bit each day. The sand filter (inground pool) has had to be back washed, we are amazed how well it is filtering (new sand this season) - we are happy with this product and it has our seal of approval

Follow direction no issues.
This product does exactly what it says it will do. I followed the instructions and I have really nice looking water. Nothing is stained. The concentrate is no joke. I added it to the skimmer from my bucket. The pump in circulation and boom it worked. So far 2 days in, little change to color.

Makes my water so beautiful!

Works well but caution
A very concentrated solution that will stain anything it comes in contact with(skimmer, stairs, hands etc). You will get that Caribbean blue but use slowly and wait for it to fully mix with the pool water before adding more.

Works as described and does not stain!
Purchased to make a "bloody shark bath" of my pool for a Halloween party. Was really worried it would stain the grout or tiles but all the reviews said it did not so I went with it.Mixed one full bottle in bucket as directed and poured in. Within about 20mins it was evenly throughout the pool. It was too light of a red shade for what I wanted so I added a second bottle and it was perfect.Added the dye around 2pm on a Saturday. Left the pumps and filters off for the party that night, ran them again starting the following day around noon. By Monday morning was filtered to a light lavender (see pic). By Tuesday morning it was 100% clear again (see pic).No staining anywhere. We were very careful not to spill the dye on the cement as cautioned. No one swam in the pool so can't comment on that.It was perfect for what we wanted! We're already thinking of ideas we could do with other colors!

Color Is Just What I Wanted!
I use the Blue Lagoon all season. 9x18', 14,000 gallon above ground pool. Has made our pool water a deep blue or can add less colorant for just a hint of blue. The color lasts about four days, before I add it again. Our city water at times, can be a little rusty, so this is perfect for us. It does leave a stain on the waters edge sometimes, but comes out if you use Mr. Clean Eraser. I use it in our waterfall fountain and our small shell type fountain. It does not stain the cement, on the smaller one, but does stain the fiberglass waterfall, which did not bother us at all. I used small blue glass pebbles to decorate the tiers. At end of season, we cleaned waterfall fountain good with a brush and bleach water. When we took tarp off this spring, it was the original white color. Fiberglass rocks, stones and 2 tiers. It's beautiful with the Blue Lagoon. Also, I wear disposable plastic gloves when I put the color in, and double bag the container in Zip Lock Bags, until next use.

Awful, STAY AWAY!
This product is absolutely horrible. Doesn’t work at all and I followed the directions to a T. First of all, I bought it in June of 2025 for a party in late July. When I took the product out, I saw an expiration date of May 2025, I was past the refund date and the party was the next day so I gave it a try.The product doesn’t work and ruined my pool tiles. It was red and I used 3.6 ounces mixed thoroughly in 2 gallons of water for an 18,000 gallon pool. Pour it by the return jets, ok! I did exactly that. After 45 minutes, I had purple water, NOT RED! I heeded all the warnings not to put any more as it could stain your pool wall.Well guess what, there is now Red on my pool tiles that doesn’t come off, even with a pressure cleaner, no red water and (what appears to be permanent) damage to my pool tiles. This was absolutely awful and ruined my party!Hopefully somebody from this company reads this and can tell me what chemical will get this garbage off.

Really makes our pool look refreshed UPDATE
I have an old pool with a super faded white liner. The pool was looking dull so I wanted to try this product. I used about 1/4 of the bottle and it looks amazing. (Mix with water in a bucket and pour around the pool) Attached are pics before and after the blue was added. It only lasts about 1-3 days but I think it's great when we have guests!UPDATE:I backwashed my pool and the blue stained my entire driveway/ down the street for 5 houses. It’s been over 30 days and it’s still there. Won’t be using again
