CLY 35W Security Lights, LED Floodlight with Motion Sensor, Upgrade 30W PIR Sensor Floodlight, Daylight White 3000 Lumen IP66 Waterproof Security Light,Outdoor Flood Lights Sensor Light

My 50w version started to malfunction after 15months due to water in the PIR. I contacted customer services who replaced it with the new 30w model which whilst smaller has an improved PIR which is now fully waterproof.The light is working correctly and is an improvement.The service has been 1st class and the guarantee fully honoured so you can buy with confidence.

Although the product works well, I have to say that the CLY customer service leaves a lot to be desired.I bought a set of 3 of these light 18 months ago & the products stated that they had a 2 year warranty. Over the winter, one of the sensors developed a leak, letting in water & eventually putting the light out of action.When I contacted CLY for a replacement their comment was 'I hope you will know the the 2 year warranty not means get the new one within 2 years if the product has any problem. We can get you a new one for free within 3 months'.So, in reality, the 2 year warranty is actually 3 months with an offer of a discount after this date if you purchase a replacement...

This looks the part but I had problems with the motion sensor. I mounted this on a pole overlooking my drive and found that nothing triggered the PIR. So I connected it to a socket in the garage. The PIR then picked up movement up to 18 feet away. It worked in both day and night mode. I lowered the mounting on the pole and still nothing triggered the PIR. I toggled the daylight/nighttime switch and suddenly it started working. However it is now set at daylight mode as it will not work at all in nighttime mode. Go figure!I emailed the manufacturer but 7 days later I am still waiting a reply.I cannot be bothered to return it to Amazon so hopefully it will continue to work now.

Ordered two of these lights, mounting and setting up is very simple. Unfortunately one had a faulty motion sensor so Amazon offered a refund. Existing light seems to work okay and provides a decent level of light, not quite sure if it truly is 30W and 3000lm but is brighter than a standard 10W led flood light which from a high street store will cost the same if not more.

Unfortunately, the initial unit I received failed. The sensor was clearly not working. I notified the seller, explained the problem and without hesitation they put another one in the post almost immediately. The second unit works fine.My slight criticism of the unit is that the time it is on when it detects something is switched, and the switch options go from 10 seconds being the first option to 45 seconds being the second. A further option in between would be useful.

AS this CLY 30W Security Lights, LED Floodlight with Motion Sensor has only been in use for a short time so far I hope it continues to work well for a long time.I have had many different types of these Security LED Lights but they don't last very long so I hope this one will.

I was unsure about the light when it arrived because it was smaller than it looks, however, it works decent enough. I got the 30w and that was bright enough to light up my garden at night. The wire is short but I read the review before hand and ordered a junction box and additional wiring aswell. The sensor is good in darkness but doesn't come on until it's gone completely dark but I'm fine with that. Overall it works good and hopefully it will last.
