Good quality scissors. Easy grip & very sharp

These are some nice little fussy cutting scissors however I like my Cutter Bees better which seem to make a smoother cut. I compared three different Tim Holtz scissors because I had to do some heavy duty fussy cutting for my holiday cards this year. I started with my Cutter Bees which do an excellent job; however, the handles are so small and aren't comfortable with my arthritic hand. The 5" TH scissors are much more comfortable and the reason I was drawn to them for the big handles; they do get the job done. The 7" detail scissors are comfortable to use too but comparatively don't do as good a job as the 5" detail scissors. I also bought the small recoil scissors and I think they're my favorite but they don't do as good a job as the Cutter Bees, so I'll keep practicing with them because they're very comfortable to use.In summary, Cutter Bees are the best for fussy cutting but the handles are too small. I wish they'd make them with bigger handles. The 5" detail scissors are very good and very comfortable. To avoid the serration on the paper, turn them upside down so the serration will be on the part you're cutting out which goes for the 7" ones as well. The 7" detail scissors didn't work well for me for fussy cutting but are very comfortable. The small recoil scissors are fantastic but really not suitable for super intricate cutting, but like I said I'm going to keep practicing with them because maybe it's my technique.

These scissors were better than I expected. They are super sharp and excellent for cutting out intricate pieces of felt. The handle makes cutting comfortable, and I had no blisters. I have arthritis in my thumb, and I had no pain after two hours of cutting.

Larger handles are great. My hand doesn't get stuck or cramped with these scissors. Cuts very well. Appreciate the guard to place over the tip for storage and travel.

This is my fourth pair of scissors. These are incredibly versatile to use for crafts, around the house, everything. They are sharp and cut through everything I needed. I just have them all over my house.

I got these to use on intricate felt cutouts with a less than enthusiastic hope they’d actually work. Nothing I’ve tried has handled the small detail work. . . . . UNTIL THESE!!!! Holy cow! “Hot knife thru soft butter” doesn’t even get close to how well these work on wool felt! They are incredibly sharp, comfortable to hold and easily maneuverable on tiny, tiny pieces. I HIGHLY recommend these for felt embroidery work!!!
