TIMBERPRO 26cc 10" Petrol Top Handle Topping Chainsaw with 2 Chain Saw Chains & Carry Bag

Shipping was extremely fast for internationsl shipping, arrived in 70hrs to the door after hitting the order button. Only issue so far after two tanks of fuel is that it took a very long time to get fuel to the carburetor on the very first startup. Carb settings were perfect out of the box. Has surprisingly good power for such a small engine and was cutting 7-8" diameter pine. Very well balanced, great design. Only real flaws in the design would be an easier chain brake reset mechanism is difficult to reset, and the choke level/rod seems a bit flimsy. Otherwise is a great saw for the money. Other top-handle saws from Stihl, Husqvarna, Echo are over $300 and you do not get the extras that this saw comes with. To get the extras on those other brands, you would spend closer to $400.

Arrived on time and as described. Used it the other day to trim up a bunch of trees and take out a bunch of scrub trees and it ripped through like everything without issue.The only issue I have had so far was initially starting it, which I found is much easier when you have the power switch in the correct position. Highly recommend this chainsaw. Especially for those who don't need a big expensive saw and aren't out cutting everyday.

Starts esay and cuts really good. Not as much power as l thought it would have. But once I got use too using it did a good job.

Edit: After using it 6 times, the handle became detached from the body, disconnecting the on/off switch in the process. After reattaching the switch and the handle, it wouldn't start anymore. So I was taking off the spark plug lead to check if there was a spark and that broke too. Moral of the story: don't buy cheap Chinese junk. (I am not even going to bother returning this item under guarantee. I have simply binned it and I am just off to buy a proper chainsaw)------------------------------------------------------If you aren't going to be using it very often then this is entirely adequate. I bought mine so that I can prune small branches with one hand while standing on a ladder and, for the price, I would say it is a good buy.Changing the chain requires a socket spanner, screw driver AND an allen key (all supplied) which is a bit of a pain.For anyone who is used to a Husqvarna as their main chain saw, this is going to feel like a Chinese toy. So if you are going to do a fair bit of work with it then go for a brand and pay the extra.

product arrived one day ahead of arrival date, which is good! started on the third pull, just remember to prime it with the priming bulb. its a good little saw, no problems fitting guide bar, its done about 20 minutes work so far trouble free, i have tightned the chain, this is normal with a new chain..and saw, it has to bed in. good value and it works, it came with a few allen keys and a good combination spanner, and even a round file to sharpen the chain! i have two sthils for heavy work, but this little thing is ideal for light work. over all im pleased with it. as i said, keep an eye on the chain during initial bedding in, all new chains looses, this is normal...and please dont overtighten!Product update, as of this year had a problem (summer 2018) with a fuel tank leak. having taken apart the saw, and found the problem. a grommet entering the tank had perished, which is disappointing but not a major issue. I am happy to say the piston and cylinder are in perfect condition after a extensive use, and I use stihl 2 stroke mix 50 : 1 which works fine. I will get the damn thing going again im sure. a fair few hours left in that little engine still.

Great saw for the money. Very light, cuts well except for tip (this is a safety feature) and with a few mods including nut and bolt to secure the lanyard attachment I am delighted with it.Purchasers should be aware that top handled saws are intrinsically less safe than rear handle, so seriously consider a rear handle timberpro model and some training if this is your first saw.For non professional use, where you may only be using the saw for a couple of hours a week, these saws seem hard to fault.

Broke after the first 30 mins of use, I had to tape the safety bar on as it kept flicking as soon as i revved it also like the hedge trimmer from TimberPro and then all the onus and cost is on you, then they send it back with no explanation of the fault - if you want a lifetime product then buy Stihl!!! Customer service and care non existent avoid!!

Don't buy!! This chainsaw has been used 3 times and every time has developed a different fault. Wouldn't work out of the box, was repaired (no fuss from the seller). Worked but then the fuel supply packed up and was sent away again for repairs. Came back and worked for an hour or so and now doesn't work again. Seller not interested this time so it's been a complete waste of money, time and effort. Go for a more reliable brand.
