I’m still getting yellowing. Any tips?

This is typically caused by some sort of contamination being introduced in the environment during the varnishing process. I have seen: 1) stirring the varnish with a wood stir stick (contains some amount of acidity); 2) applying the varnish on a surface covered by newspaper or other acidic papers like butcher paper; 3) storing the varnished piece in an area covered by similar paper (this will usually present itself as yellowing "leaching" in from the edges of the varnished piece); 4) rolling up the varnished piece covered with an acidic paper. Take a close look at your processes and environment to see where this might be happening. Some other less frequent and more obvious causes that I have seen for yellowing/discoloration are 1) displaying the varnished piece above or very near an active wood-burning fireplace; 2) displaying the varnished piece in the home of a cigarette smoker. Can I use to seal oil painting on canvas?

Yes, you can used on canvas prints, I have used, the "Quali-Tech 612-WV6FQ Roller Lite/Rollerfoam Roller Combo-Kit." Very important, when using the roller apply using one direction. I usually apply it from the top down position, to have an even coat layer. Also make sure it is plenty of air, and don't apply the varnish in a closed room.

Can this be brushed on? i'm looking to use this on wooden panels that feature digital prints (pigment ink, epson). it needs to be very smooth and even

Yes, you can brush it on. Better to use a foam roller. I put on about 3 coats. I use it on canvas prints, the more I use, start to fill up the grooves of the canvas. My first coat is gloss, the last : are Matt. Breathtaking beautiful. Rivals the original oil painting for richness of color
