Just as decribed
Just what we needed to fix our oven. Easy install and works as it should. I will add however that you should turn the oven on for a bit to let the new element heat up before putting any food in the oven. It has an odor at first and I don’t think it is a good idea to try and cook food during this burn off period. After the first time though no more odor. The temperature of the oven is accurate and no other issues noted.

Faulty wire connections will also cause heat failure.
Writing to edit my review: This heating element was easy to install and has worked until it didn’t!! And then it did!!!Installed on November 6, 2023Failed on January 31, 2024 BUT the problem turned out to be the wire connection. Once that the connector was replaced the element worked.

Exact Replacement
After spending some time comparing dimensions of various “Exact” replacements for my brand and model (GE Spectra) that wouldn’t fit, and for the most part, were more expensive, I happened onto this item. Dimensions matched, competitive price, and a fairly prompt delivery window.This was a straightforward replacement for someone with marginal mechanical skills and likely extended the service life of this unit at a small fraction of a replacement cost.
