Great Functional Design
I am thrilled with this case/gig bag! It fits my bass like it was made for it. It’s lightweight, made of a heavy canvas with just enough padding. The material is easy to get a grip on, not slick as some other bags inexplicably are. It actually has handles and straps where I need them to be and I really love the front zippered opening! I just got it today so I can’t attest to durability but it appears to be sturdily and well made. It only took seconds to cozy my bass into it and I didn’t have to lay the bass down to do it. This is a very reasonably priced, well made upright bass bag that I happily give 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up! 👍👍

What I was looking for!
The fabric of this bag feels very sturdy and the straps do too. Much better than you would think for 100.00. Also the pocket in the front is well placed and very roomy. I was worried I would not like the zipper down the middle but I love it and it is easy to put the bag on and zip up without having to put the hole think on the ground! It is thin with minimal thickness to the bag so it may not offer the protection that other bags might but it is light weight and easy to maneuver, and not over stiff. So, I bought this bag because I have 5/8 size bass (Shen SB190) and currently there are not bags for this size under 500.00. This bag is a little snugger than my 3/4 Gollihur bag and it is not as stiff. I have made a cushion to sit at the bottom of the inside of the bag and it pushes up the little bass almost 2 inches. I plan on snugging down the straps on the back, this way the body of the bass will not slip around too much. This still leave the neck of the bag a bit too long, so I will hand stich across the top of the bag pulling the two seams together. So for my 5/8 Bass, This will be perfect.

Great bag for the money
This is pretty nice gig bag for the money. My previous case was a Bobelock, which was superior in padding but after a little more than a year the zipper failed where the endpin touched the bag. For a over $300 bag, that's not acceptable... This bag has a well thought out slot where the endpin sticks out, thereby not interfering with the zipper. I also like how it zips the whole way up the middle, which works better than expected. As other reviewers have stated, the padding is pretty thin on this case, but as long as you aren't slamming it off doorways it should be fine.

Fits a 1964 Kay upright perfectly
This lightweight gig bag gives you lots of pockets and handles for loading and carrying. The backpack straps are great for the longer walks between jams at the bluegrass festivals.

Very well made of good materials
Exactly what I was looking for. It fits my Eastman VB305 DB very nicely. I've never had/seen a bag with the zipper up the front middle but it seems to work fine, will just take a little getting used to putting it on - a little different than the typical side zipper.I am a professional jazz bassist and wanted a lightweight bag that was well made with good materials to carry my gigging bass to work. I am very careful with my instruments - always have been - and didn't want or feel I needed a super padded bulky 'puffy case'. When I started playing 50 years ago I had a bag that was just plain unlined canvas. I'm not going to run into door jams and such. My bass is in greater risk of damage when I am on stage and the bass is uncovered. The material of this bag appears 'bulletproof' and the seams, pockets, and handles are all well done. Great 'light' bag for the money.

Just The Basics
I’ve looked high and low for a simple unpadded bass bag with a zipper right down the fingerboard. This is what I call a speed bag.. quick on and off, easy to store..Because this is a thin canvas bag, I only use it when I am personally handling my bass. If you’re in a situation where other folks are loading and unloading your instrument you might opt for something with more padding and protection. But for weight and easy use this is a perfect bag and the price is right!
