Does this have a smooth top for crafting or is it textured?

It is a textured surface. Not heavily textured, but a definite texture. If you are wanting to write or draw on a sheet of paper, it would probably not work well, but anything heavier might be ok. You would need something under your paper. Probably depends what kind of crafting you will be doing. I do arts and crafts and would use this for much of my work. I would need to know what you want to do on it.

Can you use out door electric grill on top of this?

I’m sure it should hold the grill since the description says the table holds up to 300 lbs. However, my concern would be that the heat of the grill could melt the plastic table top unless you put something between the grill and the table. EX: plywood, thick cardboard, etc…

Would this hold a 50lb portable dryer?
