MB QuartXK1-116 6-1/2" X-Line Series 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers

The price was so good I decided to give them a try. I usually like silk at home and aluminum on the road to cut through the noise but these are just a tiny bit on the shrill side. They do hit down low and have extended highs but mid range maybe not the best. Definitely better than my stock speakers though.

These arrived quickly, and without damage. I installed in the door of 2000 Honda Accord. There was some modification required to get them in, the car has 51/4" factory speakers (Pioneer). They went in quickly (after the mod) and sound wonderful! A huge upgrade from the factory! Please note, I rated 4 stars, because they really do need an amp to meet there full potential. I am not running them with an amp but they sound fantastic anyway. These are my first MB Quart speaker and they are really worth the money. I am now upgrading all of the speakers in my car to MB Quart, from subs on up! I definitely would recommend these for any 6.5" install/upgrade.

Great speakers, actually ordered the wrong size (needed 5.25 for my '03 accord), but based on how the smaller ones sound I can only imagine the larger woofer on these makes them even better. The titanium tweeters are what really make these speakers for me, they are incredibly clear and reproduce high frequencies with utmost accuracy.

I don't think you can get a better sounding speaker

These were not as good as the 6X9's I bought 6.5 were a disappointment poor sound quality. My guess the 6.5's were 2nd's or factory defective This is not what I expected from MB QuartDO NOT BUY!The 6x9” I purchased from Creative Audio were very good I wanted to clear up where they came from.
