Are these cables suitable for connecting pioneer dj equipment? pioneer say i need a 70 ohm cable, but there are no ohm specs on these cables.

Are you sure it’s an optical cable that your equipment needs? An optical cable is a variation on a fibre optic cable so it uses light signals to transfer the data. Normally it’s the speakers that have the Ohm which refers to the speaker impedance. Without knowing what your trying to connect together would be impossible to help further. But it’s normally RCA cables for connecting DJ controllers to speaker systems giving you the right and left channels. Or LAN data cables for connecting different devices together.

As there is no electrical conection> whats the point of gold plating plastic components wuth no audi or electrical connection. ????
