Samsung HW-HM60C R Sound Stand (Refurbished)

It took about as long to unpack as it did to get it working. The unit came with all the cables I needed and setting it up with our newer 50" Samsung Smart TV was pretty straight forward. I just used the included digital optical cable to connect the sound stand to the TV. The surround sound is a big improvement over the TV's built in speakers.It fits nicely under the TV and is barely noticeable.We just got it last night, so I'm still experimenting with the different settings. Maybe today I'll read the instructions !!

The sound is good and an improvement over the Samsung Smart TV it's connected to. Unfortunately, this Samsung Sound Stand doesn't integrate with the Samsung TV through TVConnect or Bluetooth. I connect it through HDMI for watching cable TV and through Aux for Pandora because it's a Smart TV app. For TV viewing, the HDMI connection switches to DV-In after start-up , requiring a manual change to the source. Very inconvenient. Documentation is poor.

This Soundstand is really awesome, after playing a few movies and playing games on the xbox one s, it really sounds fantastic and a whole lot better than your typical tv speakers. The only issue would be that every time you do turn it on, it goes to digital in and not hdmi, but it is so minor that it does not bother me at all.

Great sound. Price was reasonable,shop around may find better pricing.Only thing is the unit does not turn on or shut off with the TV.Overall good purchase for the price.I would recommend this to friends.

Overall, enhances the sound nicely. However Sound Surround ON can distort voices and is better for music/action movies.

This item is a disappointment in every way. The connection instructions are not complete enough and are not clear. The unit shuts off once in a while with no apparent reason.It has not met my expectations.

Sounds decent for TV speakers without a sub woofer. Does enhance the sound!
