Better swallowed whole than chewed.
Pepzin is helpful, along with dietary changes, weight loss, etc for reducing acid reflux & GERD. I wouldn't be without. As such, this is a useful product. I don't know that it is any better than the other Pepzin product I was using. I will say this though...as a chewable, you'd think that would be the best way to use the product. However, when I chewed it, it would upset my stomach. I found it was much easier on my stomach when I just swallow them whole. So if you're one of those people that get an upset stomach when you chew them, try them whole. It's much better......at least for me. On a side note, the instructions say with or without a meal. it is my understanding that PepZin is always best taken on an empty stomach. This allows the active ingredients to freely adhere to the damaged parts of the stomach lining in order to help heal it.

A-MAZ-ING!
I have had horrible heartburn/GERD for several years. I accidentally came upon the zinc/carnosine combo when looking for holistic remedies. WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Even after eating a large (trigger) Thanksgiving supper and chocolate (trigger) pie, I didn't have any heartburn/GERD!!!The ones I have are chewable, they don't have a taste at all. I have only taken them for 5 days, but the difference is so amazing that I've told everyone that I know has any kind of stomach issues. I'm glad I signed up for the monthly subscription!

Nothing negative, then again nothing really positive
I tried these as well as another brand of Pepsin-GI. These were more pallatable as chewables than whole pills to swallow. I gave each product 2 mos test to see if it would help solve a slight touch of gastritis, however neither did much. As i said about the other pepsin Gi. . doesn't mean it wouldn't help another or didn't strengthen the lining, it just didn't make any changes for me. I ended up doing much better simply drinking strong ginger tea daily.

Worked as advertised
Great product. After using for three weeks my stomach and esophagus were healed. I ran out and Amazon has taken close to three months to get me more but my stomach still feels good.
