Superb picture quality, lots of options, and easy to mount
The picture quality is really good with lots of presets. I've opted for 1440p at 60fps, as this is a good balance between a crisp image and being able to extract detail from moving objects (e.g. number plates). I had a dash cam before which was only 30fps and sometimes number plates were difficult to extract because of the speed of the vehicle passing (it blurred it), so 60fps will resolve that issue. It will not allow camera stabilisation at this resolution though, so I am guessing that feature is only available at 1080p. (I'd consider that to be slightly misleading advertising, but I am not too concerned about it.)Installation was easy using the included cigarette lighter socket adapter. It does take up the socket though, so you can't use it for anything else (no problem for me as I don't smoke and I have other USB charging ports in the car). The magnetic mount is really strong, so much so that I was initially hesitant to put the required force on it to remove the camera, but it will come off. I also found that putting the camera on at a slight angle, so that the metal contacts in the mount and camera touch first, was required for a good mounting. (Taking it off was then the reverse of this.)All in all, a good camera.

Great product
Excellent piece of kit, which is easy to fit. I used the hard wire kit and followed an online you tube . Easy peasy.

Works well great video qualityt. Let down by the phone app sometimes not connecting with camera.
After having had this fitted for months now had no issue with this dash camera. Video footage is great in 1440p quality.Only thing that lets this down, is the app you use if you wish to connect your phone to the camera to download a video clip. Do find sometimes you can have problems getting your phone and camera to connect properly on the phone app.

Great dashcam
Bought this to replace my 222x dashcam. Very clear image and useful GPS feature showing speed and location. It also fits onto the suction mount I used for my 222x dashcam, as I didn't want to permanently attach it to the windscreen. Easy enough to use.

Worst Dashcam I have ever owned - Nextbase 622GW
The simplest thing I could say in a review for this Nextbase 622GW dashcam is: -DO NOT BUY THIS DASHCAM!I have had a number of dashcams in the past and they all have their issues in one form or another but this one is by far the worst I have experienced. After making the decision to replace the £100 front and rear dashcam I had when it started to fail after 4 years near constant use, parking mode and all, I looked through many and opted for the Nextbase 622GW. The lower models in the range all have great reviews so I thought I'd get the best one they have with all the bells and whistles, SOS, What Three Words, 4K, rear view addon etc. My first expensive mistake. I also purchased the additional rear view addon which I thought was a great additional feature as you simply plug in the module to the dashcam with no extra wiring and away you go. Second expensive mistake. Also purchased a 128G micro SD card for £30, initially not the Nextbase SD card but a good unit nonetheless. Third not so expensive mistake so went for the fourth expensive mistake after the dashcam was installed, worked for a short while then started freezing randomly, investigation stated the dashcam needed to be used with Nextbase micro-SD card, a crock but wasted £70 buying their card. That as the fourth waste of money on this dashcam. So, we're now nearly £400 down with a device that about as reliable as a chocolate fireguard! No use at all in my opinion. Customer services are no use either as they just keep harping on about need to get their micro-SD card even after I got their card, and there never seems to be any software updates for the unit in the hopes of fixing it so it is now chucked in my expensive waste of money junk drawer to live or die, don't care, forever.Oh, Video quality is pretty good at highest settings which I tried when I first installed the unit but opted for lower settings to make it record for longer and it does get very hot ALL the time.Hope this is useful to someone and prevents them from wasting their hard earned cash. :)

Good picture quality
This is the second Nextbase dash cam I have purchased. The first is 322 fitted to my daughters car. I have punched the 622 for my car. I find setting things up on my iPhone difficult because of my sausage fingers so used my iPad. The setup was straightforward and the camera carried out a firmware update. Time and date transferred from the iPad. The default settings are good but I did change a couple of options. I purchased the wired rear camera option. I installed this in a new car and it was quite simple. I used the cigarette lighter power supply supplied with the camera, not wanting to interfere with the new cars electric system. Routing the rear camera wire was a little more challenging but ok. I have been suppressed that the cable can be routed along the roof lining and cover trims with ease. When fixing the rear camera to the rear window make sure you stick the fixing in between the window heater elements. The sticker is oval so it should fit ok. My car is a hatchback so it’s important to ensure the camera is placed in a position that the wiper clears the glass. I have checked the results of the recordings and I am very pleased with the picture quality. I am still testing and fiddling with the odd setting but I am very pleased with camera. Just a note, I could not understand one option and emailed Nextbase. They emailed back with the answer, all very good.
