How do you force carbonate flat beer? i put some in at 25 psi for 4 days in a cold refrigerator. has a foamy top but beer is still flat. any advice?

Shake it. Literally. That is what I do when I force carbonate in one of my 5 gallon soda kegs. I put the CO2 pressure up around 30+ psi and shake the keg for several minutes. Something small like this might take less time and/or pressure. Wait a day for things to settle, then you can fine tune your carbonation level up or down as needed.

how do you clean this?

Thanks for your question, when you first use, please clean keg, spear, faucet and beer hose with warm water and mild soap. After you use it, you can just clean it with water.

Can you connect a CO2 tank to pressurize instead of using the disposable cartridges?

There is probably a way to adapt it, but it only holds 4 pints and the cartridges are pretty cheap.
