Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wasn’t ready for how incredible this cheese would be! Old Amsterdam is rich, bold, and perfectly aged with that classic nutty, slightly sweet flavor that just melts in your mouth. I used it on a charcuterie board, paired it with wine, and even grated a bit over pasta – divine in every single use.If you're a cheese lover or just want to try something a little more upscale than your usual cheddar, this is 100% worth the buy. Love this cheese. First time trying it was at a party. One of the guests was from Holland and brought some. Second time trying this cheese was when I bought some in the airport in Amsterdam. Third time was through this purchase. It is just as amazing as the others. I’m not sure if the other brands, but I can’t imagine them being too different. The cheese is similar to an extra sharp cheddar, but different. Please try some if you haven’t. I’ve also tried Old Rotterdam but did not care for it.

The cheese broke down into pieces as soon as i tried to slice it. Like a parmesan cheese.Not like the smooth texture of the same cheese and brand. Im thinking it dried out or something. Bummed out.

We received a sample of this cheese from friends in Holland. I had to search to find it again. I wish it had been sliced but we still ate it all. It is my favorite. I will reorder
