These are good caps, good quality.

I have had my hair done professionally forever (highlights, low lights, weaves, balayage…). Very picky about my hair. After Covid and moving to a town where I couldn’t find a good colorist, I YouTubed my way to doing it myself. I started with foils and I’m sure with practice, and increased arm resilience, that would be better - but only in that I could use more than one color. Otherwise, seriously, my color looks better using these than in a salon.How to: brush your hair! Some prepunch holes, you can but not necessary. I start pulling hair through in the back bottom to the crown, side bottom to crown, then leave top and face frame for last to be more specific about fine or chunky and face framing. Plan your pattern (all homes, little holes, skipping rows) and you will need a mirror to see the back if not using every hole. Put on some good music that makes you happy. The first time can be frustrating. After your color has processed, slowly pull on different areas until finally free - it won’t just slip off.If you use every hole, your color will look like solid “semi-natural” - doesn’t seem possible with all of the hair under your cap, but I was BLONDE and not highlighted the first time I used it.Use just one type of hole for more depth.Pull tiny pieces for baby light - like tiny. Large pieces for chunky using fewer holes.Don’t pull too tight in case the straps pull off (it is plastic), just be gentle and make it snug. I’ve used the same cap about three times. Check the holes though. If any have stretched too large throw it out to avoid color bleeding.Good luck!

The quality is great, but they are a bit hard to use. They fit most average size heads. Overall great product.

Poking through the inner liner with the plastic tool is super challenging!! I've never used anything similar, so I didn't know what to expect, but it was nearly impossible for me to perforate the cap using the tool provided.

Easy to use on short hair like it a lot!!

Updated: After using this cap, it is so much easier to use than others as it is easier to pierce the plastic, but only with a smaller metal hook. Much quicker and just as great results…no leaking of hair color/bleach through cap. (I never used the hook that came with these.)—————————————————-Plastic hook is useless, would not even bother using. Have not tried caps yet; concerned about the thin plastic of these as compared to others such as Conair.
