This isn't a linear regulated pover supply, but by increments only.
The item arrived in good condition, and provided 3.2, 4.6, 6.16, 7.65, 9.18, and 12.2 Volts.Pretty good if you need 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 or 12 V power Supply. The bad is that the regulation isn’t linear, but by increments only. The knob isn’t a pot, but a Rotator selector switch.I have a regulated power supply, linear from 3V to 12V or 14.5 V @ 1A, depending on the DC adaptor you use. I made it more than 10 years ago (Using a LM317), and simple electronic parts. The difference is the knob, which is a 5 K Pot. This gives the freedom to regulate the Voltage from 3V to 14.5 V, in linear by 0.1 V increments. The reason I ordered this module is that I needed 2 Amps instead of 1Amp of my module. If you deal with a 6V 12 AH lead Battery you needs a voltage between 6.75V to 6.90 V (Stand By Use) or 7.20V - 7.50V (Cycle Use).In my case this device is useless. You can drop the Voltage by 0.6 V increments using diodes in serial, but the forward voltage of a diode is dependent to Temperature and Current. Depending in the size of the diode if currents drops bellow 100mA then the Diode forward Voltage changes too, and you can control the Overcharge of the battery.I tried this module, as part of the upgrading of my grandsons Power Wheels Dune Racer, upgrading from 12V to 18V (using 3 identical Power Sonic model PS-6100 F1, 6Volt 12Amp. Hr. This didn’t work so I solved the problem my self. For each battery I made an Over Voltage Indicator and Cut-Off module. Using a Relay, 10K Pot, Zener Diode, and a transistor and resistors, I have a linear selection of cut-Off voltage in the range 6.75 - 7.5 volts by increments 0.1 volt. And for each battery I bough an unregulated Dc power supply 8V - 10 V and 3 A.If you need to select voltage by big increments go for it, but if you needs linear regulation, tiny Adjustable Power supply, then it is a good idea looking for another regulated Power supply, or if you have time and nerves go and do it by yourself.

Good buy
Could not have found a better buy for my needs, restoring old transistor radios. My o'scope shows it a little noisy and it's got off-brand caps in it, like I expected a this price. If I need it for some quiet application, I figure a quick recapping will do it.
