Nice little fan! Perfect to keep in purse for those nasty Hot Flashes! Quality was BETTER than expected and well assembled... each seems to be assembled in "traditional" way with a truly handmade feel, however with good precision and attention to detail. I wish they had traditional handpainted designs as opposed to pre-printed fabric, but I realize those traditional fans are getting harder to come by without high costs.I bought 3 different styles including a "LINEN" and a two "SILK" designs. The printed decoration is a very slightly "raised" design, which makes it seem more like a traditional "painted" work. Each "style" is quite individual but match the photos. The decorative tassel fell apart quickly, but not necessary. I like the reinforced outer edge on the fabric as it adds additional strength/stiffness without compromising the folding. I would say the Linen Style is EQUALLY as good of a quality as the Silk... a little more stiff, but NOT difficult to fold or up "fat" upon folding as I originally expected.These fans are Not as beautiful as the traditional "laquered" works, but a VERY GOOD CHOICE for a MODERN DAY EQUIVALENT!

Very nice fan. Color scheme with floral decor adds a nice touch. Great quality of wood and wool, lightweight as well.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to enter a sporting arena with a fan of any type. I have even had small motorized neck fans confiscated. This hand-held fan is perfect for getting some air flow in the scorching summer evenings. It is small enough to fit into a stadium-compliant bag, yet large enough to produce a cooling air stream when open. And as a bonus - it's stylish and reasonably priced!

The fan itself seems to be rather decent quality, and looks very pretty. The storage sleeve it comes with is nice quality and surprisingly thick which does a wonderful job helping with most things that would cause it to get damaged or scratched up.Only issue is that the tassel attached to it is very low quality, it was already falling apart on the first day and by the end of the week the tassel was gone entirely. A minor issue, in my opinion, but it does detract from the intended appearance, so if you care about the tassel staying intact, then unfortunately this fan will need its tassel replaced or tightened regularly.

This fan is very nice. Great quality. Nice weight to it. Sturdy not flimsy. Pretty in person.

I was looking for a fan small enough to keep in my carry-on side-pocket (or similar), but still actually usable for cooling my often overheated head. This one is indeed small enough but is only a decorative fan, not really a functional one.There's a couple of problems.It's a little smaller than I imagined (product picture is with a very small hand).But mostly it's loose and non-locking. So when you open it, you have to brace your hand to keep it open- and you're bracing against a section that's not solid (ribs alternate with space). The combination is awkward to hold and tiring before long.Not cool.If you've ever been through tropical country customs after walking across a hot tarmac, you know you wished for a hand fan)- it can make a big difference to be able to generate a breeze if you're prone to running hot- an astonishing number of such places don't have much airflow during travel hours, despite the hordes of perspiring visitors.Maybe this fan is suitable for dance, theater, flirting, etc- but that wasn't what I was looking for. I'm going to keep looking.
