My Little Pony - My Busy Books Board book – January 31, 2013

Okay, this is a three in one hit. It has a board book with ten pages. a play mat that is much larger than expected and a good collection of twelve mini ponies. The mini ponies are not as good as a blind bag pony, but they are fairly decent for the price. Although it really does not matter when you are a soon to be four year old girl. :) This is a good buy for the kids. I ordered mine through goHastings and it got here much more quickly than I had expected. My one and only complaint is that they need to use a better shipping envelope, because a corner was sticking out. The book was fine, but I have to admit I was concerned. Still? Great product, great price, five days earlier than I expected and on her birthday? A very pleased four year old.

You can get 12 ponies in a different purchase without anything else for way more expensive. 11 ponies would be good so would 1o 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 or 2 or 1 eh not so much. The ponies are cute and adorable and the story is a good story about the cutie mark crusaders. The playmat is really big! But for me hard to fold back up a little bit. But still it includes figurines! It includes Princess Celestia, Princess Cadence, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, AppleJack, Rarity, AppleBloom, SweetieBell, Scootaloo, and Spike the Dragon.So awesome.

This busy book was the perfect way to start my daughter's My Little Pony collection. It contains all of the main pony characters, including Spike the dragon, at a smaller size than the original full size ponies. The ponies are all nicely painted and the paint has not chipped or rubbed off yet. Considering that the full sized ponies are several dollars apiece, this is an amazing product because you get 12 characters, a book with room for pony storage, and a play mat for just over $10. This has been one of my favorite toy purchases ever, and my daughter was thrilled to receive it.

I purchased this for my niece. I wanted to buy her a My Little Pony book because of her adoration towards the ponies. The activity set comes with 12 figurines, a play mat, and a story. Most of the main characters are included in the set. The characters included are Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Spike, Princess Celestia, and Princess Cadence. The play mat is pretty large when you unfold it. There are four setting to place the ponies on. The four settings are Twilight Sparkle's library, Sugar Cube Corner, Sweet Apple Acres, and Rarity's boutique. The book is quite short and involves the Cutie Mark Crusaders looking for cutie marks. The book is like 8 pages long. In the book, the Cutie Mark Crusaders go to various locations in Ponyville like Rarity’s boutique, Sugar cube corner, Crystal Empire, visit Celestia’s empire Canterlot, and school. Eventually, the Cutie Mark Crusaders learn that they should be patient and that eventually they will get their cutie marks.The play mat is just a glossy piece of paper. I expected something more sturdy and hard because children play rough. I don't think the paper mat will last that long, but my niece likes it. Some of the ponies look kind of weird like Spike and Scootaloo. The paint job isn't that great and the figurines aren’t as detailed. I didn't them to contain a lot of detail anyways because of the price. As well as that the cutie mark for Pinkie Pie also looks kind of squished. Fluttershy’s eyes kind of looks weird, but the hair is positioned correctly, which I was happy about. Anyways, I like this My little Pony set because I found it to be extremely cute and loveable. Most importantly, my niece loved it. I definitely recommend this set for any My Little Pony fans.

My daughter loves My Little Pony. However, several of the ponies have not been released as minis. This product solves this problem, as it contains the following characters who are not available elsewhere in mini size: Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle,Spike the Dragon, and Princess Celestia. The product also contains different versions of already released ponies such as Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Apple Bloom, and Princess Cadence. Granted, these are clearly early versions of the minis and not as polished as the current ones that are available in stores. Scootaloo especially looks a little weird in the face, but if you're a true blue My Little Pony lover, the minor imperfections are worth it for the group as a whole. You will make your child's day with the entire packet, including the ponies, a book, and four backgrounds featuring Twilight's House, The Cake's Sweet Shop, Rarity's Shop, and Sweet Apple Acres. Really worth the price.

I bought it for a collection item. Cute set, Painting of the eyes was a little off on scoot-loo and Celestia Hair was a little loose at first but once I got it to click back on it was cool. The Book and play mat are a nice quality though. :) Parents this is a really cute set for your kid you might have to glue Celestia hair in place so it don't pop off (mainly because she the most complex character shaped one in the set.) If you want to have a small collection of MLP ponies to start of with this is a good start.

My soon to be 3-year-old loves My Little Pony so I thought this would be an awesome addition for her birthday. It arrived in perfect condition and I can't wait to give it to her for her birthday. It comes with the My Little Pony figurines and a playmat made of plastics that fits inside a board book with a story. Busy books are the best!
