Wonderful book of activities for adventuring and teaching outdoor skills
Review - Unbored Adventure 70 Seriously Fun Activities for Kids and their Families“Unbored Adventure” is a wonderful little (174 pp) book. It is a compilation of well over 70 activities in the adventure world for kids, adults, and those who never grew up. With easily followed, open ended directions for everything from camouflage to packing kits, to survival skills to mapping, to sensory sharpening, to orienteering, to lashing, to backyard adventures, to paracord bracelets to tree houses, there is lots and lots for anyone of any age to go out and enjoy. The directions are amazingly clear and easy to follow without being overly detailed or imposing. The directions leave room for improvisation. The entire book is very well and clearly written. The formatting is well done. The cover is while flexible is much strong than paper back. While at first glance the book seems cluttered, everything is in its place and well pictured or diagrammed. This is an excellent book for families with young children, for preteens, for teens, for young adults wanting to explore the outdoors, for people of any age who just want to do something outside and never had family or opportunity to learn how. There are at least two more “unbored” books, “Unbored Games” and “Unbored Essential Field Guide to Serious Fun” which I intend to explore shortly.

Great for older kids
Seems like a good book that has ideas and tips for kids that like to explore and keep active. It includes recipes, craft ideas and warnings. There are pictures and lots of texts. The text and supplies need does make me think you shouldn’t push the age limit much lower than 10 unless you want the child to have to rely on you. I want my kids to use this independently as much as possible. It should be great for my 12 year old! Good buy.

Are Your Kids Bored? Have Them Read This
These "Unbored" series of books are a great answer to your kids complaints about there being nothing to do. Especially after making them take a break from screens, they can be uninspired to do anything except gripe. This book is a wellspring of activities. You'll find yourself inspired to join in too.

My kid has not let me see it!
I keep finding this in random places in my house because my kid keeps dragging it around and excitingly talking about things he’s seen it it. We’re already planning camping trips and games for when the weather gets better.

Not for adults
Somehow I missed that this book is for the kids to read. I thought it was a book of ideas for parents/aunts (me). The book is great...if you can get your kids off their phones long enough to read it.
