Only one zone. Each zone requires it's own thermostat.

Yes, the IAQ model has an interior humidistat built in, displays exterior humidity via an add-on.

Will this thermostate works with Alexa?

Directly no. you would need the redlink gateway and the Honeywell Total Connect app and Total Connect Skill for it to work with Alexa

do you need the interface module as well in order for this to work?

Yes. Unlike previous Prestige models, you must use the interface models to install this. It’s fairly easy if there is enough slack in the wire from the previous installation. Basically you’re just passing the wire that connects from your equipment to the thermostat through the EIM. Find a good location to mount the EIM and cut the wire in an appropriate place where both ends will easily reach the EIM. Then connect the wires from your equipment to the EIM as if you were connecting them directly to the thermostat. Then pick two wires out of the cable running to the thermostat and connect them to the output of the EIM and the thermostat. Make sure you use the same two wires at both ends. Red and orange can look alike in a dimly lit attic. Don’t ask me how I know. Before starting anything, ensure the power is off to the equipment.
