Fun enhancement to rituals. As human beings, we find comfort in rituals. These papers are a really fun way to add meaning to a ritual you already enjoy or help you to create your own. Whether you are putting a wish out to be answered, or releasing a burden to the sky, these wish papers are lovely. The instructions explain exactly how to do it, so I won't go into detail on that. The end result is that the words you write on the papers fly away burning as they go. A lovely bit of ash might drift back down and that can be caught, rubbed between your hands, and blown away.I know they are called wish papers, but my favorite use is for releasing something (or a name of someone) that is really bothering me. I bought this for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party. All the girls thought it was such a great idea. We did it twice. The party we had for her friends we lit the papers outside. The paper lit but didn't fly. I think the cold air affected the paper so it did not take flight. Her family party we decided to do it inside, although we were fearful, the paper worked great inside and it truly is not hot and doesn't burn anything once the flame goes out. Such a great thing to do and really was a great activity for the Sweet 16.

I had done wish paper a few times before at parties & events. I wanted to do it at a party I'm having. This is a very good price for this wish paper kit (50 sheets, 25 platforms & five pencils). Most kits, I'd be buying two kits (at about the same price of this kit) for all the girls, but I only had to buy one of this kit. I especially love the pattern of the platforms, since I love butterflies & pink.

The colors and design are beautiful.. the problem I had was the description said 7x7...The actual package was a 7x7 but the wish paper and platforms were approx. the size of a post it note...

I got this for Chrismas and everyone in my family wrote down their wish for the year and we had so much fun ligthing it and seeing the paper fly! A fun ritual for the family!
