Excellent quality
This is a very sturdy, all metal rack. We had one previously that was plastic and this is so much better and worth the $$$. You do need studs or as a previous reviewer stated hang 4x4 to secure it to.

There is an alternative way to install it
You can make the install easier and remove the rack from the mounting frame and use that as the template. The nuts are 10mm. 3 sets of holes should line up with studs and you may not have to use any anchors. If mine didn't line up where I wanted it I would have drilled new holes in the frame. If you remove the screws leave the top ones in the drying rack frame, the top rod will hold it in place. This will help when you reinstall the rack and covers. Also you don't need to tighten the nuts so the way down. They are nyloc nuts and won't become loose later, they just kinda float in the holes. You can do this with one person but 2 would have made it easier when putting the drying rack back into the mounting frame. So far so good, it will get used later today.

unique but need to be careful
These are quite unique in concept and execution, and they fit our need for drying racks that can be stowed away into a very small space. The difficulty is that these are basically little sheet metal trays and so they are pretty... "bendy."For us, we ordered 4. Out of that only 1 survived without some kind of dent or some bend introduced to some part (one looked like the box got a good twist).Returns were a bit troublesome in that we couldn't send all three back without having to pay for shipping ourselves (or at least that's what Amazon made it seem like). We could return them individually though, so we did that. It also gave us an opportunity to explain for each one what the issue was. Honestly, most of it seemed like something that happened during shipping. The really interesting part came when the replacements arrived (really fast too). There are apparently two different models floating around out there. Same company, same model, but there were changes. The most significant being the mounting holes. The ones we got from Amazon: keyhole openings (big opening with the mounting slot). The ones we got as replacements: just simple holes. The holes don't match up between the two, so we had to modify one to fit into the wall mounts we had already installed. After installing all 4, the one thing that needs to emphasized is that these are made of sheet metal. The rack will bend to conform to whatever shape your drywall is in. And because of the way the rack closes up, any twist the rack picks up will become apparent when the two doors are closed. Our wall wasn't true, so one rack kept getting twisted whenever we tighten down all of the screws. The solution was to put a washer between the rack and wall behind one hole. That helped take out the twist the rack kept picking up from the wall.Bear this in mind with installation. If your walls are perfectly true, you won't have any issues. The "bendy" part also comes into play when installing since you have to have the rack fully open to get to the mounting holes. The rack will twist quite easily, so you definitely need a helper and need to be careful. As another reviewer noted, it is helpful to get the rods completely out. You just need to be careful about bending the flaps. The inclusion of the long Phillips screw head bit was nice, but it didn't really help since the top rod still gets in the way. The installation instructions does NOT indicate what size holes to drill for the drywall anchors. Yes, you can eye-ball it, but it would have been nice to just write it down somewhere. The mounting hole template in the box itself was a nice touch (gives extra padding for shipping but doesn't kill more trees with an extra sheet of paper).

Folds up neatly. Love it!
Fabulous design. Fabulous function. Make sure you have the support of studs for your installation and you'll be fine!

Perfect for a laundry room, just consider installation placement
The media could not be loaded. This was perfect for our laundry room. We have a utility sink and I wanted something low profile that I could either hang wet clothes or other items that I needed to drive right above the sink. I really like that the installation came with an extremely long driver, which made it much easier to install. I think the one thing I would request is that the bit size for the anchors is listed in the instructions. Also don’t do what I did and install the rack flush with the wall. Definitely makes it difficult to open and close the little doors. It’s already installed and I’m not taking it down, but I’m gouging my drywall every time I open it not overly concerned since it’s just a laundry room.

Difficult installation
Hard to install with one person because it arrived fully constructed, which made it difficult to screw to the wall. Tried to remove parts to get the right angle but that wasn’t possible. Definitely need to use the wall anchor. Once installed it didn’t kept close.
