Works like a charm for small items. I dropped a washer into a crankcase. Fished it out on the first try. Heard the strong click of the magnet finding the washer, and backed slowly with the washer on the tools magnet. This product is excellent !!!

This got the job done that other magnets couldn't. It's super flexible but yet still rigid.

Very nice little magnet. It was a lot thinner than I thought but it works well.

Needed something that could fit in a spark plug hole and ended up using it for many other things like sockets and screws. It is not shielded on the sides of the magnet so it will tend to stick as you are sliding it down to retrieve. The magnet is strong for its size and will pick up ratchets wrenches and heavier items. The shaft is easily bendable and holds shape with moderate strength. If you need a well made light duty pick up tool that can fit in small spaces this is a good fit.

Outstanding German-made tool. Amazingly small and flexible, this tiny magnet had no problem picking up and holding my 3/8 inch socket wrench. This was the only pickup tool small/narrow enough for me to fish out a shift lever return spring from a GM steering column....a real lifesaver. Great addition to any professional mechanic's toolbox.

This just arrived and I thought the length would be longer. It's about 6" to 10" inches shorter than what I had in mind to use it for. I'll still use it for a different purpose and tool bag. I think the magnet will retrieve the items I hope to not drop. The magnetic tip is a nice small size (just a hair over 3/16") so it'' enter a 1/4" hole easily and the wire is flexible enough to bend it sufficiently. I'd like it more if they offered this in a longer length for the price.

Excellent quality and strong magnet. Highly recommended for those hard to reach places.
